and for one whose scales prove light ,
ሚዛኖቹም የቀለሉበት ሰውማ ፤

neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
አሁንም ስለሚከሱኝ ያስረዱህ ዘንድ አይችሉም።

so that god may prove those who believe , and eliminate the disbelievers .
አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን ( ከኀጢአት ) ሊያነጻና ከሓዲዎችንም ሊያጠፋ ነው ፡ ፡

therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful .
ሚዛኖቹም የከበዱለት ሰው እነዚያ እነርሱ ፍላጎታቸውን ያገኙ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and that allah may prove those who believe , and may blight the disbelievers .
አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን ( ከኀጢአት ) ሊያነጻና ከሓዲዎችንም ሊያጠፋ ነው ፡ ፡

thus does the word of your lord prove true against those who transgress that they do not believe .
እንደዚሁ የጌታህ ቃል በእነዚያ ባመጹት ላይ እነርሱ የማያምኑ መሆናቸው ተረጋገጠች ፡ ፡

they said : and what shall be the penalty for it , if ye prove liars ?
« ውሸታሞች ብትሆኑ ቅጣቱ ምንድን ነው » አሏቸው ፡ ፡

and thus did the word of your lord prove true against those who disbelieved that they are the inmates of the fire .
እንደዚሁም የጌታህ ቃል በእነዚያ በካዱት ላይ እነርሱ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ማለት ተረጋገጠች ፡ ፡

and on them did satan prove true his idea , and they followed him , all but a party that believed .
ኢብሊስም በእነርሱ ላይ ምኞቱን በእርግጥ ፈጸመ ፤ ከአመኑትም የሆኑት ጭፍሮች በስተቀር ተከተሉት ፡ ፡

“ and allah will prove the truth by his words , even if the guilty get annoyed . ”
አላህም ከሓዲዎች ቢጠሉም እውነትን በቃላቱ ያረጋግጣል ፡ ፡

and on that day , the weighing will truly be done ; so those whose scales prove heavy are the successful .
ትክክለኛውም ሚዛን የዚያን ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ሚዛኖቻቸው የከበዱላቸው ሰዎችም እነዚያ እነርሱ የፈለጉትን ያገኙ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and of a surety we shall prove you all until we know the strivers among you and the steadfast , and we shall prove your states .
ከእናንተም ታጋዮቹንና ታጋሾቹን እስከምናውቅ ፣ ወሬዎቻችሁንም እስከምንገልጽ ድረስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡

" and allah by his words doth prove and establish his truth , however much the sinners may hate it ! "
አላህም ከሓዲዎች ቢጠሉም እውነትን በቃላቱ ያረጋግጣል ፡ ፡

every soul is going to taste of death , and we shall prove you with evil and good as a temptation ; and unto us ye shall be returned .
ነፍስ ሁሉ ሞትን ቀማሽ ናት ፡ ፡ ለመፈተንም በክፉም በበጎም እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ወደኛም ትመለሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

and we will surely prove you with aught of fear and hunger and diminution in riches and lives and fruits ; and bear thou the glad tidings unto the patient ;
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

and moses said : though ye and all who are in the earth prove thankless , lo ! allah verily is absolute , owner of praise .
ሙሳም አለ « እናንተም በምድር ያለውም ሁሉ በመላ ብትክዱ አላህ በእርግጥ ተብቃቂ ምስጉን ነው ፡ ፡ »

have you not seen those who have established friendship with the people who are subject to the wrath of god ? they do not belong to you nor you to them , yet they knowingly try to prove their point by using false oaths .
ወደእነዚያ አላህ በእነርሱ ላይ የተቆጣባቸውን ሕዝቦች ወደ ተወዳጁት ( መናፍቃን ) አላየኽምን ? እነርሱ ከእናንተ አይደሉም ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም አይደሉም ፡ ፡ እነርሱም የሚያውቁ ሲኾኑ በውሸት ላይ ይምላሉ ፡ ፡

he [ salih ] said , " enjoy yourselves in your homes for three more days . this warning will not prove false . "
ወግተው ገደሏትም ፡ ፡ ( ሷሊህ ) « በአገራችሁም ሶስትን ቀናት ( ብቻ ) ተጠቀሙ ፡ ፡ ይህ የማይዋሽ ቀጠሮ ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡

indeed god has helped you on many occasions , even during the battle of hunain , when you were elated with joy at your numbers which did not prove of the least avail , so that the earth and its vast expanse became too narrow for you , and you turned back and retreated .
አላህም በብዙ ስፍራዎች በእርግጥ ረዳችሁ ፤ የሑነይንም ቀን ብዛታችሁ በአስደነቀቻችሁና ከእናንተም ምንም ባልጠቀመቻችሁ ጊዜ ምድርም ከስፋቷ ጋር በጠበበቻችሁና ከዚያም ተሸናፊዎች ኾናችሁ በዞራችሁ ጊዜ ( ረዳችሁ ) ፡ ፡
