by the ten ( secret ) nights ,
በዐሥር ሌሊቶችም ፡ ፡

therefor hath he no lover here this day ,
ለእርሱም ዛሬ እዚህ ዘመድ የለውም ፡ ፡

and indeed he is an avid lover of wealth .
እርሱም ገንዘብን ለመውደድ በጣም ብርቱ ነው ፡ ፡

when he called out to his lord with a secret cry .
ጌታውን የምስጢርን ጥሪ በተጣራ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

from the mischief of those who practise secret arts ;
« በተቋጠሩ ( ክሮች ) ላይ ተፊዎች ከኾኑት ( ደጋሚ ) ሴቶችም ክፋት ፡ ፡

and god knows what you keep secret and what you publish .
አላህም የምትደብቁትንና የምትገልጹትን ሁሉ ያውቃል ፡ ፡

recall what time he cried unto his lord with a cry secret .
ጌታውን የምስጢርን ጥሪ በተጣራ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

and indeed , i spoke to them both publicly and in secret :
« ከዚያም እኔ ለእነርሱ ገለጽኩ ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም መመስጠርን መሰጠርኩ

( o mankind ! ) call upon your lord humbly and in secret .
ጌታችሁን ተዋርዳችሁ በድብቅም ለምኑት ፡ ፡ እርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

and allah knoweth that which ye keep secret and that which ye publish .
አላህም የምትደብቁትንና የምትገልጹትን ሁሉ ያውቃል ፡ ፡

and i will give them respite ; indeed my secret plan is extremely solid .
ለእነርሱም ጊዜ እሰጣቸዋለሁ ጥበቤ ብርቱ ነውና ፡ ፡

if you speak loudly ; he has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden .
በንግግር ብትጮህ ( አላህ ከጩኸቱ የተብቃቃ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱ ምስጢርን በጣም የተደበቀንም ያውቃልና ፡ ፡

and if thou speakest the word aloud , then verily he knoweth the secret and the most hidden .
በንግግር ብትጮህ ( አላህ ከጩኸቱ የተብቃቃ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እርሱ ምስጢርን በጣም የተደበቀንም ያውቃልና ፡ ፡

( he is ) the knower of the unseen , and he revealeth unto none his secret ,
« ( እርሱ ) ሩቁን ምስጢር ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ በምስጢሩም ላይ አንድንም አያሳውቅም ፡ ፡ »

and abandon open and secret sin ; surely they who earn sin shall be recompensed with what they earned .
የኃጢአትንም ግልጹንም ድብቁንም ተውዉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ኃጢአትን የሚሠሩ ፤ ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር በእርግጥ ይቀጣሉ ፡ ፡

( whether you ) speak in secret or aloud , he knows the innermost of the chests .
( ሰዎች ሆይ ! ) ቃላችሁንም መስጥሩ ፡ ፡ ወይም በእርሱ ጩሁ ፡ ፡ እርሱ በልቦች ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

eschew all sin , open or secret : those who earn sin will get due recompense for their " earnings . "
የኃጢአትንም ግልጹንም ድብቁንም ተውዉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ኃጢአትን የሚሠሩ ፤ ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር በእርግጥ ይቀጣሉ ፡ ፡

do they suppose that we do not hear their secret thoughts and their secret talks ? yes indeed [ we do ] !
ወይም እኛ ምስጢራቸውንና ውይይታቸውን የማንሰማ መኾናችንን ያስባሉን ? አይደለም ፤ መልክተኞቻችንም እነርሱ ዘንድ ይጽፋሉ ፡ ፡
