i do not worship what you worship ,
« ያንን የምትግገዙትን ( ጣዖት አሁን ) አልግገዛም ፡ ፡

« እኔም አማኞችን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

i do not need to swear by the sunset ,
አትካዱ ፤ በወጋገኑ እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

i do not need to swear by the orbiting
ተመላሾችም በኾኑት ( ዐዋድያት ) እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

say , ‘ i do not ask you any reward for it , and i am no impostor .
በላቸው « በእርሱ ላይ ምንም ዋጋ አልጠይቃችሁም ፤ እኔም ከተግደርዳሪዎቹ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

( ሉጥ ) « እናንተ የተሳታችሁ ሕዝቦች ናችሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

ኢትዮጵያ ሚስት አፈልግም ማግባት አረብ ማግባት የምፈልግ ጎደኛ አለችኝ ሚስት ከሌለህ ዱባይ

በዚህ አገር ( በመካ ) እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

ከነርሱም ምንም ሲሳይ አልፈልግም ፡ ፡ ሊመግቡኝም አልሻም ፡ ፡

i do not desire from them any sustenance and i do not desire that they should feed me .
ከነርሱም ምንም ሲሳይ አልፈልግም ፡ ፡ ሊመግቡኝም አልሻም ፡ ፡

i believe that he is god my lord and i do not consider anything equal to him . "
« እኔ ግን እርሱ አላህ ጌታዬ ነው ፤ ( እላለሁ ) ፡ ፡ በጌታዬም አንድንም አላጋራም ፡ ፡

" the word changes not before me , and i do not the least injustice to my servants . "
« ቃሉ እኔ ዘንድ አይለወጥም ፡ ፡ እኔም ለባሮቼ ፈጽሞ በዳይ አይደለሁም » ( ይላቸዋል ) ፡ ፡

እነዚያንም የሚጋደሉዋችሁን ( ከሓዲዎች ) በአላህ መንገድ ተጋደሉ ፡ ፡ ወሰንንም አትለፉ ፤ አላህ ወሰን አላፊዎን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

do not hold men in contempt , and do not walk with hauteur on the earth . verily god does not like the proud and boastful .
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

and do not plead on behalf of those who deceive themselves ; indeed allah does not like any treacherous , excessive sinner .
ከእነዚያም ነፍሶቻቸውን ከሚበድሉት ላይ አትከራከር ፡ ፡ አላህ ከዳተኛ ኃጢአተኛ የኾነን ሰው አይወድምና ፡ ፡
