« ብልሆች ኾናችሁ ከጋራዎች ቤቶችንም ትጠርባላችሁ ፡ ፡

and when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
ተቀብለውም። እነዚህ ኋለኞች አንድ ሰዓት ሠሩ፥ የቀኑንም ድካምና ትኩሳት ከተሸከምን ከእኛ ጋር አስተካከልሃቸው ብለው በባለቤቱ ላይ አንጐራጐሩ።

and you carve out of the mountains , homes , with skill .
« ብልሆች ኾናችሁ ከጋራዎች ቤቶችንም ትጠርባላችሁ ፡ ፡

and allah has caused you to grow out of the earth so wondrously ,
አላህም ከምድር ማብቀልን አበቀላችሁ ፡ ፡

and in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
በቤትም ደግሞ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ስለዚህ ነገር ጠየቁት።

and the people of the city came rejoicing . ( * to the house of prophet lut . )
የከተማይቱም ሰዎች የሚበሳሰሩ ኾነው መጡ ፡ ፡

« ብልሆች ኾናችሁ ከጋራዎች ቤቶችንም ትጠርባላችሁ ፡ ፡

allah has caused you to grow out of the earth ,
አላህም ከምድር ማብቀልን አበቀላችሁ ፡ ፡

they would carve secure houses out of the mountains .
ከኮረብታዎችም ቤቶችን ጸጥተኞች ኾነው ይጠርቡ ነበር ፡ ፡

they hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety .
ከኮረብታዎችም ቤቶችን ጸጥተኞች ኾነው ይጠርቡ ነበር ፡ ፡

then he made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained .
ከዚያም ዘሮቹን ከተንጣለለ ፣ ከደካማ ውሃ ያደረገ ነው ፡ ፡

for it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of hellfire :
እርሷ በገሀነም አዘቅት ውስጥ የምትወጣ ዛፍ ናት ፡ ፡

the day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal ,
ወደ ጣዖቶች እንደሚሽቀዳደሙ ኾነው ከመቃብሮቻቸው ፈጥነው የሚወጡበትን ቀን ( እስከሚገናኙ ድረስ ተዋቸው ) ፡ ፡

for it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of hell-fire :
እርሷ በገሀነም አዘቅት ውስጥ የምትወጣ ዛፍ ናት ፡ ፡

but an evil word is like an evil tree torn out of the earth ; it has no foothold .
የመጥፎም ቃል ምሳሌ ከምድር በላይ የተጎለሰሰች ለእርሷ ምንም መደላደል የሌላት እንደኾነች መጥፎ ዛፍ ነው ፡ ፡

" indeed are we shut out ( of the fruits of our labour ) "
« በእርግጥም እኛ ( ከመጠቀም ) የተከለከልን ነን » ( ትሉ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

and when ibrahim and ismail raised the foundations of the house : our lord ! accept from us ; surely thou art the hearing , the knowing :
ኢብራሂምና ኢስማኢልም « ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከእኛ ተቀበል ፡ ፡ አንተ ሰሚውና ዐዋቂው አንተ ነህና » የሚሉ ሲኾኑ ከቤቱ መሠረቶቹን ከፍ ባደረጉ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

" indeed we are shut out ( of the fruits of our labour ) ! "
« ይልቁንም እኛ የተከለከልን ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡
