እንበላለን።

« እኛም የምንቅቀጣ አይደለንም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

and they said : we are more numerous in riches and children , and we are not going to be tormented .
« እኛም በገንዘቦችና በልጆች ይበልጥ የበዛን ነን ፡ ፡ እኛም የምንቀጣ አይደለንም » አሉ ፡ ፡

surely in that are signs . we are always testing .
በዚህ ውስጥ ( ለከሃሊነታችን ) ምልከቶች አልሉበት ፡ ፡ እነሆ ! ( የኑሕን ሰዎች ) በእርግጥም ፈትታኞች ነበርን ፡ ፡

we have decreed death among you , and we are not to be outdone
እኛ ሞትን ( ጊዜውን ) በመካከላችሁ ወሰንን ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

and they say : " we are more in wealth and in children , and we are not going to be punished . "
« እኛም በገንዘቦችና በልጆች ይበልጥ የበዛን ነን ፡ ፡ እኛም የምንቀጣ አይደለንም » አሉ ፡ ፡

and they used to say , “ when we are dead and turned into dust and bones , are we to be resurrected ?
ይሉም ነበሩ ፡ - « በሞትንና ዐፈር ፣ ዐጥንቶችም በኾን ጊዜ እኛ በእርግጥ የምንቀሰቀስ ነን ?

we are peers
እኩያማቾች ነን

we are going out
አንተ ተኝ

to replace them by others better than they ; and we are not to be outrun .
ከእነርሱ የተሻለን በመለወጥ ላይ ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

send him with us tomorrow , that he may refresh himself and play , and verily we are to be his guards .
« ነገ ከእኛ ጋር ላከውና ይደሰት ፤ ይጫወትም ፡ ፡ እኛም ለእርሱ ጠባቂዎች ነን ፡ ፡ »

and we are the arrangers .
እኛም ( ጌታን ለመግገዛት ) ተሰላፊዎቹ እኛ ነን ፡ ፡

aye ! we are deprived !
« በእርግጥም እኛ ( ከመጠቀም ) የተከለከልን ነን » ( ትሉ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

we are all serving life a sentence
in seconds

' we are debt-loaded ;
« እኛ በዕዳ ተያዦች ነን ፡ ፡

and they said , “ there is no other life except our life of this world , and we are not to be raised . ”
እርሷም ( ሕይወት ) « የቅርቢቱ ሕይወታችን እንጅ ሌላ አይደለችም እኛም ተቀስቀቃሾች አይደለንም » አሉ ፡ ፡

and they said : whatsoever thou mayest bring unto us of the nature of a sign wherewith to enchant us , in thee we are not going to be believers
( ለሙሳም ) « በማንኛይቱም ተዓምር በእርሷ ልትደግምብን ብትመጣብን እኛ ለአንተ የምናምንልህ አይደለንም » አሉ ፡ ፡

nay , we are deprived [ altogether ] . "
« በእርግጥም እኛ ( ከመጠቀም ) የተከለከልን ነን » ( ትሉ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

substitute for them better ( men ) than they ; and we are not to be defeated ( in our plan ) .
ከእነርሱ የተሻለን በመለወጥ ላይ ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

the histories of apostles that we relate to you are ( meant ) to strengthen your heart . through them has the truth come to you , and guidance , and reminder to those who believe .
ከመልክተኞቹም ዜናዎች ( ተፈላጊውን ) ሁሉንም ልብህን በርሱ የምናረካበትን እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ በዚህችም ( ሱራ ) እውነቱ ነገር ለምእምናን ግሳጼና ማስታወሻ መጥቶልሃል ፡ ፡
