( ለእነርሱም ) « የማትረዳዱት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ ? ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

( ቁርኣንን ) በእርግጥ እናስነብብሃለን ፤ አትረሳምም ፡ ፡

do you possess a scripture in which you read
በእውነቱ ለእናንተ በእርሱ የምታጠኑበት መጽሐፍ አላችሁን ?

so why do you still reject the religion ?
ታዲያ ከዚህ በኋላ በፍርዱ ምን አስተባባይ አደረገህ ?

and why do you have an excessive love of riches ?
ገንዘብንም ብዙን መውደድ ትወዳላችሁ ፡ ፡

and ask them , " why do you not fear god ? "
« ወደ ፈርዖን ሕዝቦች ( ኺድ ) አላህን አይፈሩምን » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

why do you forget me, o god? look at me, too
አምላክ ሆይ እኔንስ ለምን እረሳኸኝ? እኔንም ተመልከተኝ

believers ! why do you say one thing and do another .
እላንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! የማትሠሩትን ነገር ለምን ትናገራላችሁ ?

believers , why do you profess that which you do not practise ?
እላንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! የማትሠሩትን ነገር ለምን ትናገራላችሁ ?

and certainly you know the first growth , why do you not then mind ?
የፊተኛይቱንም አፈጣጠር በእርግጥ ዐውቃችኋል ፡ ፡ አትገነዘቡምን ?

if we will we can make it bitter , so why do you not give thanks ?
ብንሻ ኖሮ መርጋጋ ባደረግነው ነበር ፡ ፡ አታመሰግኑምን ?

" why do you worship these you carve yourselves , " he asked ,
አላቸው « የምትጠርቡትን ትግገዛላችሁን ? »

certainly you have known the first genesis , then why do you not take admonition ?
የፊተኛይቱንም አፈጣጠር በእርግጥ ዐውቃችኋል ፡ ፡ አትገነዘቡምን ?

and you have indeed learnt about the first creation , so why do you not ponder ?
