we know very well that there are some among you who reject our signs --
እኛም ከእናንተ ውስጥ አስተባባዮች መኖራቸውን በእርግጥ እናውቃለን ፡ ፡

repel thou the evil with that which is fairer . we ourselves know very well that they describe .
በዚያች እርስዋ መልካም በኾነችው ( ጠባይ ) መጥፎይቱን ነገር ገፍትር ፡ ፡ እኛ የሚሉትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂዎች ነን ፡ ፡

they said , “ by allah , you know very well that we did not come here to cause turmoil in the land , and nor are we thieves ! ”
« በአላህ እንምላለን በምድር ላይ ለማጥፋት እንዳልመጣን በእርግጥ ዐውቃችኋል ፡ ፡ ሌቦችም አልነበርንም » አሉ ፡ ፡

they replied , " you know we have no need of your daughters . you know very well what we are seeking . "
« ከሴቶች ልጆችህ ለእኛ ምንም ጉዳይ የለንም ፡ ፡ አንተም የምንሻውን በእርግጥ ታውቃለህ » አሉት ፡ ፡

we know very well that they say : ' a mortal teaches him ' the tongue of him at whom they hint is a nonarab ; and this is a clear arabic tongue .
እነርሱም « እርሱን ( ቁርኣንን ) የሚያስተምረው ሰው ብቻ ነው » ማለታቸውን በእርግጥ እናውቃለን ፡ ፡ የዚያ ወደርሱ የሚያስጠጉበት ሰው ቋንቋ ዐጀም ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ ( ቁርአን ) ግን ግልጽ ዐረብኛ ቋንቋ ነው ፡ ፡

and we know very well that they say , ' only a mortal is teaching him . ' the speech of him at whom they hint is barbarous ; and this is speech arabic , manifest .
እነርሱም « እርሱን ( ቁርኣንን ) የሚያስተምረው ሰው ብቻ ነው » ማለታቸውን በእርግጥ እናውቃለን ፡ ፡ የዚያ ወደርሱ የሚያስጠጉበት ሰው ቋንቋ ዐጀም ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ ( ቁርአን ) ግን ግልጽ ዐረብኛ ቋንቋ ነው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , say , " people of the book , why do you deny the revelation of god ( the quran ) even though you know very well that it is from god ? .
የመጽሐፉ ባለቤቶች ሆይ ! እናንተ የምታውቁ ስትኾኑ በአላህ አንቀጾች ለምን ትክዳላችሁ
