وبما أنّ ذلك الانسحاب لم يترك سوى مرشح واحد، هو السيد محمد أخطر بولاند رانا، المراجع العام للحسابات في باكستان، فقد أُعدَّ مشروع المقرر التالي:

the group endorsed the election of the new auditor general of pakistan, mr. muhammad akhtar buland rana, as external auditor of unido, which conformed to existing practices in the organization and respected the principles of continuity and equitable geographical distribution.
14- وأردف قائلا إنَّ المجموعة تؤيد انتخاب السيد محمد أختر بولند رانا، مراجع الحسابات العام الجديد في باكستان، مراجعا خارجيا لحسابات اليونيدو، وهو ما يتوافق مع الممارسات المتبعة في المنظمة ويراعي مبدأي الاستمرارية والتوزيع الجغرافي العادل.

subsequent to the issuance of document gc.14/5 and as announced in information note no. 62, a communication was received on 14 november 2011 from the permanent mission of pakistan that mr. muhammad akhtar buland rana had been appointed as the auditor general of pakistan. mr. rana has therefore replaced mr. tanwir ali agha, who retired on completion of his term of duty, as the external auditor of unido and also as candidate for external auditor of unido.
1- عقب إصدار الوثيقة gc.14/5، ووفق ما ورد في المذكّرة الإعلامية رقم 62، وردت بتاريخ 14 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2011 رسالة من بعثة باكستان الدائمة مفادها أنَّ السيد محمد أخطر بولاند رانا قد عُيِّن مراجعا عاما للحسابات في باكستان وأنه من ثمَّ قد حلَّ محلَّ السيد تنوير علي أغا، الذي تقاعد بعد أن أتمَّ مدة خدمته، كمراجع خارجي لحسابات اليونيدو وكذلك كمرشّح لمنصب المراجع الخارجي لحسابات اليونيدو.
