أبلغ مديرية مركز كمرك الفاو المواطنين جليل عبد الجليل شنان مسؤول الجنيبة رقم 7 جلاجل وعبد الخالق عبد الرازق مسؤول الساحبة علي/2 التي تسحب الجنيبة الآلية 104/بصرة وأفاد أنه بتاريخ 22 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2000 داهمتهم دورية إيرانية مؤلفة من 3 زوارق في مياهنا الوطنية (منطقة الكرين/شط العرب) خط طول 44، خط عرض 51 وقاموا بسحبهم بواسطة ساحبات إيرانيــــة بقـــــوة السلاح والتهديد واتجهوا إلى المياه الإيرانية وبتاريخ 5 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000 تم تجميع الطواقم للقطع أعلاه على متن الساحبة علي/2 وطلبوا من مسؤوليها بقوة السلاح التوجه إلى المياه العراقية وقاموا بمصادرة الجنيبتان أعلاه وسحبهما إلى جهة مجهولة في إيران وبتاريخ 6 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000 عاد البحارة إلى الفاو بعد إطلاق سراحهم.
