hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
«Եւ արդ, լսեցէ՛ք դուք սերմնացանի առակը.

and he spake this parable unto them, saying,
Յիսուս նրանց այս առակն ասաց.

now the parable is this: the seed is the word of god.
Իսկ առակը այս է նշանակում. սերմը Աստծու խօսքն է:

then answered peter and said unto him, declare unto us this parable.
Պետրոսը պատասխան տուեց նրան եւ ասաց. «Այս առակը բացատրի՛ր մեզ»:

and his disciples asked him, saying, what might this parable be?
Աշակերտները նրան հարցնում էին, թէ այդ առակն ի՞նչ է նշանակում:

and he spake to them a parable; behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
Եւ նրանց ասաց մի առակ. «Նայեցէ՛ք թզենուն եւ ամէն մի ծառի.

and he said unto them, know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
Եւ ասաց նրանց. «Այս առակը չէ՞ք հասկանում, ապա ինչպէ՞ս պիտի հասկանաք բոլոր առակները:

and he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Մի առակ էլ ասաց նրանց այն մասին, թէ նրանք ամէն ժամ պէտք է աղօթեն ու չձանձրանան:

and he spake a parable unto them, saying, the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
Եւ նրանց մի առակ պատմեց ու ասաց. «Մի մեծահարուստի արտերը առատ բերք տուեցին.

all these things spake jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
Այս բոլորը Յիսուս առակներով պատմեց բազմութեանը եւ առանց առակի ոչինչ չէր ասում նրանց,

and he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them,
Հրաւիրուածներին էլ մի առակ ասաց՝ տեսնելով, թէ ինչպէս նրանք պատուոյ տեղերն էին ընտրում:

now learn a parable of the fig tree; when her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
«Բայց դուք այդ թզենո՛ւց սովորեցէք առակը. հէնց որ նրա ոստերը կակղեն, եւ նրա վրայ տերեւ դուրս գայ, իմանում էք, որ ամառը մօտ է.

and as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of god should immediately appear.
Եւ մինչ նրանք լսում էին այս, Յիսուս մի առակ էլ աւելացրեց նրա համար, որ ինքը մօտենում էր Երուսաղէմին, եւ նրանք կարծում էին, թէ Աստծու արքայութիւնը շուտով յայտնուելու է:

and the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
Եւ օրէնսգէտներն ու քահանայապետները նոյն պահին ուզում էին նրա վրայ ձեռք դնել, բայց ժողովրդից վախեցան, որովհետեւ հասկացան, թէ այն առակը իրենց մասին ասաց:

and they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
Եւ նրանք միջոց էին փնտռում՝ նրան ձերբակալելու, բայց ժողովրդից վախեցան, որովհետեւ հասկացան, թէ նա առակը իրենց մասին ասաց: Եւ թողեցին նրան ու գնացին:

and he began to speak unto them by parables. a certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
Եւ սկսեց նրանց հետ առակներով խօսել եւ ասել. «Մի մարդ այգի տնկեց եւ նրա շուրջը ցանկապատ քաշեց, հնձանի փոս փորեց եւ աշտարակ շինեց. ու այն յանձնեց մշակներին եւ գնաց ուրիշ երկիր:
