আমরা যথাশীঘ ্ র তোমাকে পড়াবো , ফলে তুমি ভুলবে না , --

so be thou patient with a sweet patience ;
অতএব , আপনি উত ্ তম সবর করুন ।

so be patient , with a patience that is graceful .
অতএব , আপনি উত ্ তম সবর করুন ।

so be on the watch ; they too are on the watch .
অতএব , আপনি অপেক ্ ষা করুন , তারাও অপেক ্ ষা করছে ।

the truth is from thy lord ; so be not at all in doubt .
এই সত ্ য এসেছে তোমার প ্ রভুর কাছ থেকে অতএব তোমারা সন ্ দেহপরায়ণদের অন ্ তর ্ ভুক ্ ত হয়ো না ।

so be patient ( o muhammad saw ) , with a good patience .
অতএব , আপনি উত ্ তম সবর করুন ।

it was only the devil who made me forget it . and so it found its way to the river , amazingly . ”
সে বললঃ আপনি কি লক ্ ষ ্ য করেছেন , আমরা যখন প ্ রস ্ তর খন ্ ডে আশ ্ রয় নিয়েছিলাম , তখন আমি মাছের কথা ভুলে গিয়েছিলাম । শয়তানই আমাকে একথা স ্ মরণ রাখতে ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল । মাছটি আশ ্ চর ্ য জনক ভাবে সমুদ ্ রে নিজের পথ করে নিয়েছে ।

( this is ) the truth from your lord , so be not of the disputers .
তোমার প ্ রভুর কাছ থেকে আসা ধ ্ রুবসত ্ য , কাজেই সংশয়ীদের দলভুক ্ ত হয়ো না ।

" i would indeed , if i were to do so , be in manifest error .
''এমন ক্ষেত্রে আমি তো নিশ্চয় স্পষ্ট ভুলের মধ্যে পড়ব।

' but if so be that you believe me not , go you apart from me ! '
''আর যদি তোমরা আমাতে বিশ্বাস না কর তাহলে আমাকে যেতে দাও।’’

( this is ) the truth from your lord . so be you not one of those who doubt .
এই সত ্ য এসেছে তোমার প ্ রভুর কাছ থেকে অতএব তোমারা সন ্ দেহপরায়ণদের অন ্ তর ্ ভুক ্ ত হয়ো না ।

on the day whereon allah will raise them all together and declare unto them that which they have worked . allah hath taken count thereof , whilst they forget it .
একদিন আল ্ লাহ ্ তাদেরকে একই সঙ ্ গে উঠিয়ে আনবেন , তখন তিনি তাদের জানিয়ে দেবেন কি তারা করেছিল । আল ্ লাহ ্ এর হিসাব রেখেছেন যদিও তারা তা ভুলে গেছে । বস ্ তুত আল ্ লাহ ্ সব-কিছুর উপরে সাক ্ ষী রয়েছেন ।

how is it that you enjoin others to follow the right way , but forget it yourselves , though you read the scriptures ? have you no sense at all ?
তোমরা কি মানুষকে সৎকর ্ মের নির ্ দেশ দাও এবং নিজেরা নিজেদেরকে ভূলে যাও , অথচ তোমরা কিতাব পাঠ কর ? তবুও কি তোমরা চিন ্ তা কর না ?

allah has prepared for them a severe punishment . so be wary of allah , o you who possess intellect and have faith !
আল ্ লাহ তাদের জন ্ যে যন ্ ত ্ রণাদায়ক শাস ্ তি প ্ রস ্ তত রেখেছেন অতএব , হে বুদ ্ ধিমানগণ , যারা ঈমান এনেছ , তোমরা আল ্ লাহকে ভয় কর । আল ্ লাহ তোমাদের প ্ রতি উপদেশ নাযিল করেছেন ।

he replied , " did you see when we were resting by the rock , that i forgot the fish ? satan made me forget it , so i did not mention it .
সে বললঃ আপনি কি লক ্ ষ ্ য করেছেন , আমরা যখন প ্ রস ্ তর খন ্ ডে আশ ্ রয় নিয়েছিলাম , তখন আমি মাছের কথা ভুলে গিয়েছিলাম । শয়তানই আমাকে একথা স ্ মরণ রাখতে ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল । মাছটি আশ ্ চর ্ য জনক ভাবে সমুদ ্ রে নিজের পথ করে নিয়েছে ।

( this is ) the truth from thy lord ( o muhammad ) , so be not thou of those who waver .
