שמנים בסיסים חיפה (שב"ח) ממוקמת בחצר בית הזיקוק בחיפה ומייצרת כ-75 אלף טון שמנים בשנה. החברה הוקמה בשנות השישים כשותפות בין בז"ן וחברות הדלק, שעסקה בייצור שמני מנוע ושעווה (wax). הבעלות בחברה נחלקה אז בין בז"ן (50%), פז (24.5%), סונול (14%) ודלק ישראל (11.5%). בינואר 2010 חברת בתי זיקוק חיפה (בז"ן), הנמצאת בשליטת החברה לישראל, רכשה מפז 24.5% ממניות חברת שמנים בסיסיים חיפה (שב"ח) תמורת 59 מיליון שקל, כלומר לפי שווי חברה של 240 מיליון שקל (63 מיליון דולר). הרכישה הגדילה את אחזקותיה של בז"ן בחברה ל-74.5%. שמנים בסיסיים חיפה בע"מ היא חברה מובילה בייצור שמנים ושעוות עבור מגוון רחב של תעשיות בארץ ובחו"ל.
