so, as you see, i love books and books love me. but i do not pore over them all the time. i often take my rucksack and go with my son to turkey, georgia, armenia or lebanon, and sometimes take my beloved wife and go with her to some horrible hotel in egypt or tailand. and when i can’t sleep, i take a piece of brownish paper and write some haiku verses.
così, come potete vedere, io amo i libri e i libri amano me. ma non è che stia tutto il tempo a leggerli, senza sosta. spesso prendo lo zaino e vado con mio figlio in turchia, georgia, armenia o in libano, e qualche volta prendo la mia amata sposa e vado con lei in qualche orribile albergo in egitto o in thailandia. e poi quando non riesco a dormire, prendo un pezzo di carta marroncina e scrivo piccoli componimenti poetici haiku.
