most of them only follow conjectures; and surely conjecture can be no substitute for truth. allah is well aware of whatever they do.
زۆر به‌یان شوێنی هیچ شتێک ناکه‌ون ته‌نها گومان نه‌بێت، به‌ڕاستی گومانیش هیچ سوودێک به‌خاوه‌نه‌که‌ی ناگه‌یه‌نێت له‌باره‌ی حه‌ق و ڕاستیه‌وه‌، به‌ڕاستی خوا زانایه به‌هه‌موو ئه‌و کارو کرده‌وانه‌ی که‌ئه‌نجامی ده‌ده‌ن.

if you obey most of those on the earth, they will lead you astray from the way of allah. they follow nothing but conjectures and they do nothing but surmise.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر فه‌رمانبه‌ردارو ملکه‌چی زۆربه‌ی خه‌ڵکی سه‌رزه‌وی بیت ئه‌وه له ڕێبازی خوا وێڵت ده‌که‌ن، چونکه شوێنی هیچ شتێک ناکه‌ون جگه له گومان و ته‌نها گۆتره‌کاری ده‌که‌ن.

and if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from allah's path. they follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر فه‌رمانبه‌ردارو ملکه‌چی زۆربه‌ی خه‌ڵکی سه‌رزه‌وی بیت ئه‌وه له ڕێبازی خوا وێڵت ده‌که‌ن، چونکه شوێنی هیچ شتێک ناکه‌ون جگه له گومان و ته‌نها گۆتره‌کاری ده‌که‌ن.

look! to allah indeed belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. what do they pursue who invoke partners besides allah? they merely follow conjectures and they just make surmises.
ئاگادار بن که به‌ڕاستی هه‌ر که‌س له ئاسمانه‌کان و له زه‌ویدا هه‌یه خوا خاوه‌نیانه‌، ئه‌وانه‌ی جگه له خوا شتی تر ده‌په‌رستن و په‌یڕه‌وی ڕێبازی تر ده‌که‌ن (وه‌نه‌بێت شوێن ڕێبازێکی چاک که‌وت بن) ئه‌وانه ته‌نها شوێنی گومان که‌وتوون، ئه‌وانه جگه له درۆ کردن و گۆتره‌کاری هیچی تر ناکه‌ن.

(o muhammad!) if you obey the majority of those who live on earth, they will lead you away from allah's path. they only follow idle fancies, indulging in conjecture.
