if they impugn you, the people of noah had impugned before them and ‘ad and thamud,
ئه‌گه‌ر خوانه‌ناسان بڕوا به تۆ ناکه‌ن و به‌درۆت ده‌زانن، ئه‌وه دڵنیابه که پێش ئه‌وان هۆزی نوح و عاد و ثه‌موود پێغه‌مبه‌ره‌کانی خۆیان به‌درۆ زانیوه‌و بڕوایان پێ نه‌کردوون.
if they impugn you, certainly [other] apostles were impugned before you, and all matters are returned to allah.
(پاشان دڵخۆشی پێغه‌مبه‌ر (صلی الله علیه وسلم) ده‌داته‌وه و ده‌فه‌رموێت): خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر خوانه‌ناسان بڕوات پێنه‌که‌ن، ئه‌وه دڵنیایه که پێغه‌مبه‌رانی تریش پێش تۆ بروایان پێ نه‌کراوه، به‌ڵام غه‌مت نه‌بێت هه‌ر بۆ لای خوا هه‌موو کارێک ده‌برێته‌وه و ئه‌وانه له ده‌ستی ده‌رناچن.
we certainly know that what they say grieves you. yet it is not you that they deny, but it is allah’s signs that the wrongdoers impugn.
به‌ڕاستی چاک ده‌زانین که گوفتاری نادروستی خوانه‌ناسان غه‌م و په‌ژاره‌ت بۆ پێش ده‌هێنێت، چونکه به‌ڕاستی ئه‌وانه وه‌نه‌بێت تۆ به‌درۆزن بزانن، به‌ڵکو سته‌مکاران هه‌ر داننانێن و ئینکاری ئایه‌ت و فه‌رمانه‌کانی خوا ده‌که‌ن.
indeed it has been revealed to us that punishment shall befall those who impugn us and turn their backs [on us].’’ ’
بێگومان ئێمه ئاگادارکراوین، که سزاو ئازارو به‌ڵا له‌سه‌ر ئه‌وانه‌یه که ڕاستیه‌کان به درۆ ده‌زانن و پشتی تێ ده‌که‌ن لێی یاخی ده‌بن.
those who took their religion for diversion and play and whom the life of the world had deceived. so today, we will forget them as they forgot the encounter of this day of theirs, and as they used to impugn our signs.

aaron, my brother—he is more eloquent than me in speech. so send him with me as a helper to confirm me, for i fear that they will impugn me.’
هاروونی براشم زمان پاراوتره له من، ئه‌ویش له‌گه‌ڵ من ڕه‌وانه بكه، بۆ ئه‌وه‌ی پشتیوانیم لێ بكات و پشتگیرم بێت و به‌ڕاستدانه‌رم بێت، چونكه من به‌ڕاستی ده‌ترسم بروام پێنه‌كه‌ن.
as for [the people of] ‘ad, they acted arrogantly in the earth unduly, and they said, ‘who is more powerful than us?’ did they not see that allah, who created them, is more powerful than them? they used to impugn our signs;
ئه‌وسا قه‌ومی عاد به‌ناحه‌ق خۆیان به‌زل و گه‌وره‌زانی له زه‌ویدا و وتیان: کێ هه‌یه به ئه‌ندازه‌ی ئێمه هێزو ده‌سه‌ڵاتی هه‌بێت؟ باشه ئایا ئه‌وه نه‌یانزانی به‌ڕاستی ئه‌و خوایه‌ی که دروستی کردوون، ئه‌و له‌وان هێزی زۆر زیاتره (به‌ڵکو هه‌ر به‌راورد ناکرێت) و ئه‌وانه هه‌ر ئینکاری ئایه‌ت و موعجیزه‌کانی ئێمه‌یان ده‌کرد.
