(but now the answer will be): nay, for my revelations came unto thee, but thou didst deny them and wast scornful and wast among the disbelievers.
نه‌خێر وانى یه‌، مۆڵه‌ت به‌سه‌رچوو، چونکه به‌ڕاستی کاتی خۆی ئایه‌ت و فه‌رمانی منت بۆ هات، که‌چی تۆ ئه‌و کاته بڕوات پێ نه‌ده‌کرد و به‌درۆت ده‌زانی، فیزو ده‌مارگیریت ده‌کردو، لوطت هه‌ڵده‌بڕی له‌ئاستیدا، تۆ هه‌ر له ڕیزی بێ بڕواکاندا بوویت (ئیتر ئێستا بۆچی بێ شه‌رمانه داوای گه‌ڕانه‌وه بۆ دنیا ده‌که‌یت؟!).

and as for those who disbelieved (it will be said unto them): were not our revelations recited unto you? but ye were scornful and became a guilty folk.
به‌ڵام ئه‌وانه‌ی که بێ بڕواو کافر بوون پێیان ده‌وترێت: باشه‌، ئێوه ئایه‌ته‌کانی منتان به‌سه‌ردا ده‌خوێنرایه‌وه‌؟! که‌چی خۆتان به‌گه‌وره‌و زل ده‌زانی، به‌ڕاستی ئێوه هۆزێکی تاوانبارو تاوانکار بوون.

and those who expect not for a meeting with us (i.e. those who deny the day of resurrection and the life of the hereafter), say: "why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our lord?" indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride.
