so taste the chastisement on account of your forgetting the encounter of this day. we, too, have forgotten you.
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މިދުވަހާ ބައްދަލުވާނޭކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދާން ނައްތައިލި ކަމަށްޓަކައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަނެތި ކުރައްވައިފީމެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކަށްޓަކައި ދެމިހުންނަނިވި عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ!

and he walked into his garden, and, (forgetting) his limit, said: "i cannot imagine that this will ever be ruined,

ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މިދުވަހާ ބައްދަލުވާނޭކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދާން ނައްތައިލި ކަމަށްޓަކައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަނެތި ކުރައްވައިފީމެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކަށްޓަކައި ދެމިހުންނަނިވި عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ!

and who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his lord, but turns away from them forgetting what (deeds) his hands have sent forth. truly, we have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this (the quran), and in their ears, deafness.
އެމީހެއްގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކުން އެމީހަކަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދެއްވުމުން، އެ آية ތަކަށް ފުރަގަސްދީ، އެނބުރިގަނެ، އަދި އޭނާ އިސްކުޅަ عمل ތައް ހަނދާންނެތުނު މީހާއަށްވުރެ އަނިޔާވެރިކަންބޮޑީ ފަހެ، ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް އެ قرآن ވިސްނުމަށް ހުރަސްއަޅާ ހުރަސްތަކެއް، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ކަންފަތްތަކުގައި ބީރުކަމެއް ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނަށް ތެދުމަގަށް ގޮވައިލައްވައިފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، އޭރުން އެއްގޮތަކަށްވެސް އެއުރެން ތެދުމަގު ލިބިއެއް ނުގަންނާނެތެވެ.
