soon will we apply ourselves to you, o you two armies.
އޭ ޖިންނީންނާއި، އިންސީންނާ ދެބާވަތުގެ މީހުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަ ދެބައިމީހުންގެ މެދުގައި ނިކަންހުރެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حكم ކުރައްވާ ހުށީމެވެ.

ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް މަޑުމަޑުން ހިއްޕަވާ ހިއްޕެވުމަކުން، އެ ހިޔަނި ހިއްޕަވައި ނެތިކުރައްވަމެވެ.

ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުފުރެއްދީމުއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވީ، މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

and indeed we should then have bestowed upon them a great reward from ourselves.
އަދި، އެހެންވީނަމަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އެއުރެންނަށް ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ދަރުމައެއް ދެއްވީމުހެެވެ.

surely we ourselves have revealed the quran to you revealing (it) in portions.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ މައްޗަށް قرآن ވަކިވަކިކޮށް ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ.

and you are naught but a mortal like ourselves, and we know you to be certainly of the liars.
އަދި ތިމަންމެންކަހަލަ آدم ގެދަރިޔެއް ކަމުގައި މެނުވީ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެން ހީކުރަނީ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދޮގުވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ ކަމަށެވެ.

then (as the sun climbs up), we roll it up little by little towards ourselves.
ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް މަޑުމަޑުން ހިއްޕަވާ ހިއްޕެވުމަކުން، އެ ހިޔަނި ހިއްޕަވައި ނެތިކުރައްވަމެވެ.

had we desired to take to us a diversion we would have taken it to us from ourselves, had we done aught.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކުޅިވަރެއްގެ ބޭނުންކުރެއްވުމަށް އިރާދަކުރެއްވިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އެކަން އެގޮތަށް ހިއްޕެވީމުހެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (އެކަންތައް) ކުރައްވާނެ ނަމައެވެ.

and they said: shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves, and whose folk are servile unto us?
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންކަހަލަ آدم ގެދަރި ދެމީހަކަށް ތިމަންމެން إيمان ވާނެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެ ދެމީހުންގެ قوم ގެމީހުން، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ކިޔަމަންވާ އަޅުންކަމުގައިވާ حال ގައެވެ.

and there they found one of our servants upon whom we had bestowed our mercy, and to whom we had imparted a special knowledge from ourselves.
ދެން (އެތަނުން) އެ ދެކަލުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އަޅުންގެ ތެރެއިން (خاص) އަޅަކު ފެނިވަޑައިގަތެވެ. އެބޭކަލަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން رحمة އެއް ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެބޭކަލަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން خاص علم އެއް އުނގަންނައިދެއްވީމެވެ.

had we desired to take up some diversion we would have taken it up with ourselves, were we to do [so].
