اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކަށް ދެކޮޅުހަދައިއުޅުނު މީހުން (ތެދުމަގުން) އެއްކިބާވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

so we took vengeance on them, and drowned them in the sea for rejecting our signs and not heeding them.
ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން ބަދަލު ހިއްޕެވީމެވެ. އަދި ކަނޑުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެއުރެން غرق ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް އެއުރެން ދޮގުކޮށް، އެ آية ތަކާމެދު غافل ވީ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ވީކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

we know that what they say grieves you. it is not you that the wrongdoers are rejecting, rather it is the signs of god that they reject.

ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން ބަދަލު ހިއްޕެވީމެވެ. އަދި ކަނޑުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެއުރެން غرق ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް އެއުރެން ދޮގުކޮށް، އެ آية ތަކާމެދު غافل ވީ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ވީކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

that is the recompense of the enemies of allah - the fire. for them therein is the home of eternity as recompense for what they, of our verses, were rejecting.
އެއީ اللَّه ގެ عداوة ތެރިންގެ ޖަޒާއެވެ. (އެއީ) ނަރަކަޔެވެ. އެތާނގައި އެއުރެންނަށް ދެމިތިބެނިވި ގޮވައްޗެއްވެއެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކަށް އެއުރެން ދެކޮޅުހަދައި އުޅުނުކަމުގެ ޖަޒާއެއްގެގޮތުގައެވެ.

ހަމަކަށަވަރުން كافر ވެ އަދި كافر ން ކަމުގައިތިބެ މަރުވި މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް اللَّه އާއި ملائكة ންނާއި އެންމެހާ މީސްތަކުންގެ لعنة ހުށްޓެވެ.

such are the signs of allah, which we rehearse to thee in truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) allah and his signs?
އެއީ اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކެވެ. حق (ތެދު) ގޮތުގައި ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ކިޔައިދެއްވަމެވެ. ފަހެ، اللَّه ގެ ފޮތާއި، އެކަލާނގެ آية ތަކަށްފަހުގައި، އެއުރެން إيمان ވާނީ ކޮންވާހަކަޔަކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

(and remember) when you (the muslim army) were on the near side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on the ground lower than you. even if you had made a mutual appointment to meet, you would certainly have failed in the appointment, but (you met) that allah might accomplish a matter already ordained (in his knowledge); so that those who were to be destroyed (for their rejecting the faith) might be destroyed after a clear evidence, and those who were to live (i.e. believers) might live after a clear evidence.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (بدر ގެވާދީގެ) ކައިރިފަރާތުގައި، އަދި އެއުރެން ދުރުފަރާތުގައި، އަދި ވިޔަފާރި قافلة ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްވުރެ ތިރީ ބިިމުގައިވީހިނދު، ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެ كافر ންގެ لشكر އާ ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރުމަށް) އެއްބަޔަކު އަނެއްބަޔަކަށް وعد ވީ ނަމަވެސް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެ وعد ވީގޮތާ خلاف ވީހެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު (ދެ لشكر ބައްދަލުކުރުއްވީ) اللَّه ނިޔާކުރައްވާފައިވާ ކަމެއް ހަމަޖެހި، ނިމިގެން ދިޔުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. (އެއީ) ހަލާކުވެގެންދާ ބަޔަކު ސާފު ހެތްކާއެކު، ހަލާކުވެގެން ދިޔުމަށެވެ. އަދި ދިރިގެން އަންނާނޭ ބަޔަކު، ސާފު ހެތްކާއެކު، ދިރިގެން އައުމަށެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
