ވާރޭވެއްސާ އުޑު ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

ކޮންމެ نفس އަކަށްމެ، އެ نفس އެއް حاضر ކުޅަކަމެއް (އެހިނދު) އެނގޭނެތެވެ.

and that to your lord is your returning;
އަދި އެނބުރި ދިއުންވަނީ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

and lo! unto our lord we surely are returning.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އަޅަމެން رجوع ވާނެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

they said: "verily, we are returning to our lord.
އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެން އެނބުރިދާހުށީ ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

they say: "then this returning will be a dead loss."
އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. އެހެންވިއްޔާ އެއީ، ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ އެނބުރި ދިޔުމެކެވެ.

and whilst returning to their homes, they used to return rejoicing.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ أهل ވެރިންގެގާތަށް އެނބުރިދާހިނދު، ހީނސަމާސާ ކުރަމުންދެއެވެ.

and, on returning to their people, boast about what they had done.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ أهل ވެރިންގެގާތަށް އެނބުރިދާހިނދު، ހީނސަމާސާ ކުރަމުންދެއެވެ.

and the birds also, gathering all oft-returning onto him on his account.
އަދި ދޫނިސޫފާސޫފި ޖަމާކުރައްވާފައިވާ حال، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް خدمة ތެރި ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އެހުރިހާ ތަކެތިވަނީ، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް تبع ވެ، ކިޔަމަންވެގެންނެވެ.

for abraham was forbearing, tender-hearted and oft-returning to god.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إبراهيم ގެފާނީ، ކޯފާ މަޑު، دعاء ކުރެއްވުންގިނަ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް رجوع ވެ، توبة ވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާ ބޭކަލެކެވެ.

this is that which ye were promised: for every oft- returning heedful one.
(އަދި އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) މިއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަންތަކެވެ. (އެކަންއޮތީ) اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް ގިނަގިނައިން رجوع ވާ، އަދި އެކަލާނގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށެވެ.

and those who give what they give, their hearts quaking that they are returning to their lord --
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން އެނބުރިދާނޭކަމާމެދު އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް ބިރުވެތިވެގެންވާ حال (صدقات ގެ ގޮތުން) އެއުރެން ދޭއެއްޗެއް ދޭމީހުންނެވެ.

and they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their lord -
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން އެނބުރިދާނޭކަމާމެދު އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް ބިރުވެތިވެގެންވާ حال (صدقات ގެ ގޮތުން) އެއުރެން ދޭއެއްޗެއް ދޭމީހުންނެވެ.

indeed, abraham was forbearing, grieving and [frequently] returning [to allah].
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إبراهيم ގެފާނީ، ކޯފާ މަޑު، دعاء ކުރެއްވުންގިނަ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް رجوع ވެ، توبة ވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާ ބޭކަލެކެވެ.

and i do not think the hour will come, and even if i am returned to my lord i will most certainly find a returning place better than this.
އަދި قيامة ވާނޭ ކަމަކަށްވެސް އަހުރެން ހީއެއް ނުކުރަމެވެ. އަދި އަހުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އަހުރެން ރައްދުކުރެއްވިޔަސް މިއަށްވުރެ ރަނގަޅުގޮތް، އަހުރެންނަށް ފެންނާނެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

allah warns you against returning to the likes of this [conduct], ever, if you should be believers.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ مؤمن ން ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، އެފަދަކަމަކަށް ދުވަަހަކުވެސް އެނބުރި ނުދިއުމަށް اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعظ އިއްވަވަތެވެ.

and they have broken their religion (into fragments) among them, (yet) all are returning unto us.
އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި، ދީނުގެ ކަންތައްތަކާމެދު خلاف ވެ، ވަކިވަކިވެގަތޫއެވެ. އެއިން ކޮންމެ ބަޔަކީވެސް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް رجوع ވާނޭ ބަޔެކެވެ.

and we gave to dawood sulaiman, most excellent the servant! surely he was frequent in returning (to allah).
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ داود ގެފާނަށް سليمان ގެފާނު ދެއްވީމެވެ. އެއަޅާގެ ރަނގަޅުކަމާއެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނީ، ގިނަގިނައިން توبة ވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާ ބޭކަލެކެވެ.

then celebrate the praise of your lord, and ask his forgiveness; surely he is oft-returning (to mercy).
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް حمد އާއެކު تسبيح ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އަދި ފާފަފުއްސެވުން އެދިވަޑައިގެން އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް ދަންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ގިނަގިނައިން توبة قبول ކުރައްވާ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި އެކަލާނގެ ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

celebrate the praises of thy lord, and pray for his forgiveness: for he is oft-returning (in grace and mercy).
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް حمد އާއެކު تسبيح ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އަދި ފާފަފުއްސެވުން އެދިވަޑައިގެން އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް ދަންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ގިނަގިނައިން توبة قبول ކުރައްވާ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި އެކަލާނގެ ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.
