އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. ތިމަންމެން އަޑުއަހާކަމުގައިވީނަމަ، ނުވަތަ ވިސްނައި فكر ކުރާކަމުގައިވީނަމަ، ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރެޔަކު ތިމަންމެން ނުވީހެވެ.

covet ye then that they would believe for you whereas surely a party of them hath been hearing the word of allah and then reverting it after they have understood it, while they know.
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެބަހީ: رسول އާ އާއި مؤمن ންގެ ގޮވާލުމަށް) އެއުރެން (އިޖާބަދީ) إيمان ވުމަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުންމީދު ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައި، އެއުރެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ވިސްނައި ދެނެގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން ދެނެތިބެ، ދެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ބަދަލުކުރާ ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

how do you expect them to put their faith in you, when you know that some among them heard the word of god and, having understood, perverted it knowingly?
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެބަހީ: رسول އާ އާއި مؤمن ންގެ ގޮވާލުމަށް) އެއުރެން (އިޖާބަދީ) إيمان ވުމަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުންމީދު ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައި، އެއުރެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ވިސްނައި ދެނެގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން ދެނެތިބެ، ދެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ބަދަލުކުރާ ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

have ye any hope that they will be true to you when a party of them used to listen to the word of allah, then used to change it, after they had understood it, knowingly?
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެބަހީ: رسول އާ އާއި مؤمن ންގެ ގޮވާލުމަށް) އެއުރެން (އިޖާބަދީ) إيمان ވުމަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުންމީދު ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައި، އެއުރެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ވިސްނައި ދެނެގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން ދެނެތިބެ، ދެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ބަދަލުކުރާ ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

so o muslims, do you wish for the jews to accept faith in you whereas a group of them used to listen to the words of allah, and then after having understood it, purposely changed it?
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެބަހީ: رسول އާ އާއި مؤمن ންގެ ގޮވާލުމަށް) އެއުރެން (އިޖާބަދީ) إيمان ވުމަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުންމީދު ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައި، އެއުރެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ވިސްނައި ދެނެގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން ދެނެތިބެ، ދެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ބަދަލުކުރާ ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

are you then eager that they should believe you, though a part of them would hear the word of allah and then they would distort it after they had understood it, and they knew [what they were doing]?
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެބަހީ: رسول އާ އާއި مؤمن ންގެ ގޮވާލުމަށް) އެއުރެން (އިޖާބަދީ) إيمان ވުމަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުންމީދު ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައި، އެއުރެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ވިސްނައި ދެނެގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން ދެނެތިބެ، ދެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ބަދަލުކުރާ ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

do you then hope that they would believe in you, and a party from among them indeed used to hear the word of allah, then altered it after they had understood it, and they know (this).
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެބަހީ: رسول އާ އާއި مؤمن ންގެ ގޮވާލުމަށް) އެއުރެން (އިޖާބަދީ) إيمان ވުމަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުންމީދު ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައި، އެއުރެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ވިސްނައި ދެނެގަތުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން ދެނެތިބެ، ދެން އެ كلام ފުޅު ބަދަލުކުރާ ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and they will scream therein, “our lord, let us out, and we will act righteously, differently from the way we used to act.” did we not give you a life long enough, in which anyone who wanted to understand would have understood?
އެއުރެން އެ ނަރަކައިގައި ރޮއިހޭރި ދަންނަވާނެތެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! އަޅަމެން ކުރަމުންގެންދިޔަ (ނުބައި) عمل ނޫން صالح عمل ކުރުމަށް އަޅަމެން ނެރުއްވައިފާނދޭވެ! ހަނދުމަކުރާނެ މީހަކު އެދުވަސްތަކުގައި ހަނދުމަކުރާހާ ދުވަހު، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ عمر ނުދަންމަވަން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި إنذار ކުރައްވާ ބޭކަލަކު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަތެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (عذاب ގެ) ރަހަ ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އަނިޔާވެރިންނަށް نصر ދޭނެ އެއްވެސް މީހަކު ނުވެތެވެ.
