اور فرمائیے کہ سب تعریفیں اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہیں جس نے نہ تو (اپنے لئے) کوئی بیٹا بنایا اور نہ ہی (اس کی) سلطنت و فرمانروائی میں کوئی شریک ہے اور نہ کمزوری کے باعث اس کا کوئی مددگار ہے (اے حبیب!) آپ اسی کو بزرگ تر جان کر اس کی خوب بڑائی (بیان) کرتے رہئے،

say, “shall i choose as a supporter someone other than allah, who is the originator of the heavens and the earth and who feeds and does not need to eat?” say, “i have been ordered to be the first to submit myself (to him), and o people, do not be of the polytheists.”
(اے رسول(ص)) کہو کیا میں اللہ کو چھوڑ کر کسی اور کو اپنا سرپرست بناؤں؟ جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا بنانے والا ہے جو (ساری مخلوق کو) روزی دیتا ہے (کھلاتا ہے) مگر اس کو کوئی روزی نہیں دیتا (اسے کوئی نہیں کھلاتا)۔ کہو۔ مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں سب سے پہلا مسلمان (خدا کے سامنے سر تسلیم جھکانے والا) بن کر رہوں اور یہ حکم بھی دیا گیا ہے کہ شرک کرنے والوں میں سے نہ ہونا۔
