آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر رحمٰن کے کوئی فرزند ہوتا تو میںسب سے پہلا عبادت گزار ہوں

or [lest] it say, "if only allah had guided me, i would have been among the righteous."
یا کوئی یہ کہے کہ اگر اللہ مجھے ہدایت دیتا تو میں بھی متقیوں میں سے ہوتا۔

say, ‘if the all-beneficent had offspring, i would have been the first to worship [him].’
آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر رحمٰن کے کوئی فرزند ہوتا تو میںسب سے پہلا عبادت گزار ہوں

but if success comes to you from god he will say, as though no love existed between you and him: "i wish i were with them, for i would have certainly met with great success."
اور اگر تم پر اللہ کا فضل و کرم ہو (فتح ہو اور مالِ غنیمت مل جائے) تو کہتا ہے جیسے اس کے اور تمہارے درمیان کبھی محبت اور دوستی تھی ہی نہیں کہ کاش میں بھی ان کے ساتھ ہوتا تو بڑی کامیابی حاصل کرتا۔
