اس نے تم (سب) کو ایک نفس سے پیدا کیا پھر اسی (کی جنس) سے اس کا جوڑا (شریک حیات) پیدا کیا اور پھر تمہارے لئے (تعداد میں) چوپایوں کے آٹھ جوڑے پیدا کئے وہ تمہیں تمہاری ماؤں کے پیٹوں میں (تدریجاً) پیدا کرتا ہے۔ ایک خلقت کے بعد دوسری خلقت تین تاریک پردوں میں یہ اللہ تمہارا پروردگار ہے اسی کی حکومت ہے اس کے سوا کوئی الٰہ (خدا) نہیں ہے تم کدھر پھیرے جاتے ہو؟

"my lord, you have given me the kingdom and taught me the meaning of dreams. you are the creator of the heavens and the earth. you are my guardian in this world and in the life to come. make me die as one who has submitted to the will of god and unite me with the righteous ones."
(جب یہ سب باتیں ہولیں تو یوسف نے خدا سے دعا کی کہ) اے میرے پروردگار تو نے مجھ کو حکومت سے بہرہ دیا اور خوابوں کی تعبیر کا علم بخشا۔ اے آسمانوں اور زمین کے پیدا کرنے والے تو ہی دنیا اور آخرت میں میرا کارساز ہے۔ تو مجھے (دنیا سے) اپنی اطاعت (کی حالت) میں اٹھائیو اور (آخرت میں) اپنے نیک بندوں میں داخل کیجیو
