اور روئے زمین پر اکڑ کر نہ چلنا کہ نہ تم زمین کو شق کرسکتے ہو اور نہ سر اٹھا کر پہاڑوں کی بلندیوں تک پہنچ سکتے ہو

(prophet muhammad) you were not on the western side (of the mountain) when we decreed the commandment to moses, nor were you among thosewitnessing.
(اے محمدؐ) تم اُس وقت مغربی گوشے میں موجود نہ تھے جب ہم نے موسیٰؑ کو یہ فرمان شریعت عطا کیا، اور نہ تم شاہدین میں شامل تھے

and thou (muhammad) wast not on the western side (of the mount) when we expounded unto moses the commandment, and thou wast not among those present;
(اے محمدؐ) تم اُس وقت مغربی گوشے میں موجود نہ تھے جب ہم نے موسیٰؑ کو یہ فرمان شریعت عطا کیا، اور نہ تم شاہدین میں شامل تھے

بڑے بڑے مشہور ریسٹورانٹس سے لے کر چھوٹی چھوتی گلیوں میں لگے ٹھیوں تک، ہر کسی کے پاس خاص قسم کے کھانے ہوتے ہیں، اور سڑک کنارے چلتے گاہکوں کو لذیذ کھانوں کی خوشبوئیں کھینچتی ہیں۔

and the servants of (allah) most gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "peace!";
اور (خدائے) رحمان کے (مقبول) بندے وہ ہیں جو زمین پر آہستگی سے چلتے ہیں اور جب ان سے جاہل (اکھڑ) لوگ (ناپسندیدہ) بات کرتے ہیں تو وہ سلام کہتے (ہوئے الگ ہو جاتے) ہیں،

and you (o muhammad saw) were not on the western side (of the mount), when we made clear to musa (moses) the commandment, and you were not among those present.
اور طور کے مغربی جانب جب کہ ہم نے موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کو حکم احکام کی وحی پہنچائی تھی، نہ تو تو موجود تھا اور نہ تو دیکھنے والوں میں سے تھا
