(اے رسول(ص)) آپ صبر و ثبات سے کام لیں۔ بے شک اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے اور جو لوگ یقین نہیں رکھتے وہ آپ کو (جوش دلا کر) بے برداشت نہ کر دیں۔

and most certainly we will settle you in the land after them; this is for him who fears standing in my presence and who fears my threat.
اور ان کے بعد اس زمین میں تمہیں آباد کر دیں گے یہ اس کے لیے ہے جو میرے سامنے کھڑا ہونے سے ڈرا اور جس نے میرے عذاب سے خوف کھایا

اور اگر الله کی طرف سے تم پر فضل ہو تو اس طرح کہنے لگتا ہے کہ گویا تمہارے اور اس کے درمیان دوستی کا کوئی تعلق ہی نہیں کہ کاش میں بھی ان کے ساتھ ہوتا تو بڑی مراد پاتا

(وہ یہ تھا) کہ اسے (یعنی موسیٰ کو) صندوق میں رکھو پھر اس (صندوق) کو دریا میں ڈال دو تو دریا اسے کنارے پر ڈال دے گا (اور) میرا اور اس کا دشمن اسے اٹھا لے گا۔ اور (موسیٰ) میں نے تم پر اپنی طرف سے محبت ڈال دی ہے (اس لئے کہ تم پر مہربانی کی جائے) اور اس لئے کہ تم میرے سامنے پرورش پاؤ

when the wife of imran said, ‘my lord, i dedicate to you in consecration what is in my belly. accept it from me; indeed you are the all-hearing, the all-knowing.’
(اس وقت کو یاد کرو) جب عمران کی بیوی نے کہا اے میرے پروردگار! جو بچہ میرے پیٹ میں ہے اسے میں (دنیا کے کاموں سے) آزاد کرکے (خانہ کعبہ کی) جاروب کشی اور تیری عبادت کے لئے تیری بارگاہ میں نذر کرتی ہوں تو میری (نذر) قبول فرما۔ بے شک تو بڑا سننے والا، بڑا جاننے والا ہے۔

then, when they had despaired of joseph they went to a corner and counselled together. the eldest of them said: "do you not know that your father has taken a solemn promise from you in the name of allah, and you failed in your duty towards joseph? so i will not depart from this land until my father permits me, or allah pronounces his judgement in my favour. he is the best of those who judge."
اب جب وہ لوگ یوسف کی طرف سے مایوس ہوگئے تو الگ جاکر مشورہ کرنے لگے تو سب سے بڑے نے کہا کہ کیا تمہیں نہیں معلوم کہ تمہارے باپ نے تم سے خدائی عہد لیا ہے اور اس سے پہلے بھی تم یوسف کے بارے میں کوتاہی کرحُکے ہو تو اب میں تو اس سرزمین کو نہ چھوڑوں گا یہاں تک کہ والد محترم اجازت دے دیں یا خدا میرے حق میں کوئی فیصلہ کردے کہ وہ بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے
