(شعیب علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: میرا رب ان (کارستانیوں) کو خوب جاننے والا ہے جو تم انجام دے رہے ہو،

(shu'aib) said: "my lord knows well what you are doing."
(شعیب علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: میرا رب ان (کارستانیوں) کو خوب جاننے والا ہے جو تم انجام دے رہے ہو،

but if they dispute with you, say, ‘allah knows best what you are doing.
اور اگر تجھ سے جھگڑا کریں تو کہہ دے الله بہتر جانتا ہے جو تم کرتے ہو

'my lord, save me and my people from that they are doing'
اے رب! تو مجھے اور میرے گھر والوں کو اس (کام کے وبال) سے نجات عطا فرما جو یہ کر رہے ہیں،

and if they should dispute with thee, do thou say, 'god knows very well what you are doing.
اور اگر تجھ سے جھگڑا کریں تو کہہ دے الله بہتر جانتا ہے جو تم کرتے ہو

and if they disobey you, then say, "indeed, i am disassociated from what you are doing."
اور اگر وہ تمہاری نافرمانی کریں تو کہہ دو کہ میں اس سے بیزار ہوں جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو۔

if they do wrangle with thee, say, "allah knows best what it is ye are doing."
اور اگر تجھ سے جھگڑا کریں تو کہہ دے الله بہتر جانتا ہے جو تم کرتے ہو
