Марям гуфт: «Эй Парвардигори ман, чӣ гуна маро фарзанде бошад, дар ҳоле ки одамӣ ба ман даст назадааст?»

he said, “my lord! how can i have a son when old age has reached me and my wife is barren?”
Гуфт: «Эй Парвардигори ман, чӣ гуна маро писаре бошад, дар ҳоле ки ба пирӣ расидаам ва занам нозост?»

she said, “how can i bear a son? no man has ever touched me, nor am i of poor conduct!”
Гуфт: «Аз куҷо маро фарзанде бошад, ҳол он ки ҳеҷ башаре ба ман даст назадааст ва ман бадкора ҳам набудаам».

"how can i have a son, o lord," he said, "for i am old and my wife is barren?"
Гуфт: «Эй Парвардигори ман, чӣ гуна маро писаре бошад, дар ҳоле ки ба пирӣ расидаам ва занам нозост?»

Гуфт: «Эй Парвардигори ман, маро аз куҷо писаре бошад, ҳол он ки занам нозоянда аст ва ман худ дар пирӣ ба фартутӣ расидаам».

Бигӯ; «Ба шумо намегӯям, ки хазинаҳои Худо назди ман аст. Ва илми ғайб ҳам намедонам.

'lord' she said, 'how can i bear a child when no human being has touched me' he replied: 'such is the will of allah.
Марям гуфт: «Эй Парвардигори ман, чӣ гуна маро фарзанде бошад, дар ҳоле ки одамӣ ба ман даст назадааст?»

my lord has provided an honourable abode for me (so how can i do something so evil)? such wrong-doers never prosper."
Гуфт: «Паноҳ мебарам ба Худо, Ӯ парваронандаи ман аст ва маро обрӯи некӯ дода ва ситамкорон наҷотёфта намешаванд».

and when adam had named them, he said: 'did i not tell you that i know the unseen of the heavens and earth, and all that you reveal and all that you hide'
Чун аз он номҳо огаҳашон кард, Худо гуфт: «Оё ба шумо нагуфтам, ки манн ниҳони осмонҳову заминро медонам ва бар он чӣ ошкор мекунед ва пинҳон медоштед, огаҳам?».

say thou: i say not unto you, that with me are the treasures of allah, nor i know the unseen, nor say unto you that i am an angel; i but follow that which hath been revealed unto me.
Бигӯ; «Ба шумо намегӯям, ки хазинаҳои Худо назди ман аст. Ва илми ғайб ҳам намедонам.

and when he had told them their names he said, 'did i not tell you i know the unseen things of the heavens and earth? and i know what things you reveal, and what you were hiding.'
Чун аз он номҳо огаҳашон кард, Худо гуфт: «Оё ба шумо нагуфтам, ки манн ниҳони осмонҳову заминро медонам ва бар он чӣ ошкор мекунед ва пинҳон медоштед, огаҳам?».

and i do not tell you that i have the depositories [containing the provision] of allah or that i know the unseen, nor do i tell you that i am an angel, nor do i say of those upon whom your eyes look down that allah will never grant them any good.
Ба шумо намегӯям, ки хазоини Худо дар назди ман аст, Ва илми ғайб ҳам намедонам. Ва намегӯям, ки фаришта ҳастам.

"and i do not say to you that with me are the treasures of allah, "nor that i know the ghaib (unseen); "nor do i say i am an angel, and i do not say of those whom your eyes look down upon that allah will not bestow any good on them.
