Гуфт: «Худоро гувоҳ мегирам ва шумо низ гувоҳ бошед, ки ман аз он чӣ ғайри Худои якто ба ширк мепарастед, безорам.

Оё дер кардани ман дароз кашид ё хостед, ки хашми Парвардигоратон ба шумо фуруд ояд, ки ваъдаи маро хилоф кардед?»

Онҳоеро, ки имон овардаанд, аз худ намеронам, онон бо Парвардигори худ дидор хоҳанд кард. Вале мебинам, ки шумо мардуме нодон ҳастед.

Ва он китобро ба Мӯсо додем ва, онро роҳнамои банӣ-Исроил гардонидем, ки ҷуз Ман корсозе интихоб накунед.

Гуфт: «Эй Иблис, чаро ту аз саҷдакунандагон Набудӣ?»

in order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what he has given you.
То бар он чӣ аз дастатон меравад, андӯҳгин набошед ва ба он чӣ ба дастатон меояд, шодмонӣ накунед.

how can you be unfaithful to allah, [seeing that] you were lifeless and he gave you life, then he will make you die and then bring you to life, and then you will be brought back to him?
Чӣ гуна Худоро инкор мекунед, дар ҳоле ки мурда будед ва ӯ шуморо зинда сохт, боз мемиронад ва зинда мекунад ва он гоҳ ба назди Ӯ бозмегардед.

(do you not know that) allah is well aware of all that you do?
Ва Худо ба корҳое, ки мекунед, огоҳ аст!

have you not seen those to whom a portion of the book was given purchasing error and wishing that you should err from the path?
Оё он касонеро, ки аз китоб баҳрае дода шудаанд, надидаӣ, ки гумроҳӣ мехаранд ва мехоҳанд, ки шумо низ гумроҳ шавед?
