Ин гуноҳе ошкор аст!

Бигӯ: «Агар онро ба Худо дурӯғ баста бошам, гуноҳаш бар ман аст ва ман аз гуноҳе, ки мокунед, мубарро (пок) ҳастам.

Оё ту мехоҳӣ ба карон сухан бишунавонӣ ё курон ва онҳоеро, ки дар гумроҳии ошкор ҳастанд, роҳ нишон диҳӣ?

and what will you wish, except if allah wills; indeed allah is all knowing, wise.
Ва шумо ҷуз он намехоҳед, ки Худо хоста бошад зеро Худо донову ҳаким аст!

it is he who gives life, and makes to die, and to him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand?
Ва Ӯст он Худое, ки зинда мекунад ва мемиро- над ва омадушуди шабу рӯз аз Ӯст, Чаро ақл намекунед?

or were you witnesses when death approached jacob, and he said to his sons, “what will you worship after me?”
Оё шумо ҳозир будед, он гоҳ, ки марги Яъқуб фаро расид ва ба фарзандонаш гуфт: «Пас аз ман чӣ чизро мепарастед?»

and whosoever comes with evil, they will be flung upon their faces into the fire. will you be recompensed for aught other than what you do?
Ва ононро, ки корҳои бад мекунанд, сарнагун дар оташ андозанд, оё ҷуз мувофиқи корҳое, ки кардаед, ҷазо ёбед?

and if you desire to exchange a wife in place of another, and you have given to one a hundredweight, take of it nothing. what, will you take it by way of calumny and manifest sin?
Агар хостед, зане ба ҷои зане дигар бигиред ва ӯро моли бисёре додаед, набояд чизе аз ӯ бозситонед, Оё ба занон тӯҳмат мезанед, то маҳрашонро бозпас гиред? Ин гуноҳе ошкор аст!

but if you do not bring him to me, no measure will there be [hereafter] for you from me, nor will you approach me."
Агар ӯро назди ман наёваред, паймонае назди ман нахоҳед дошт ва ба ман наздик машавед».

or were you witnesses when death approached ya'qub (jacob)? when he said unto his sons, "what will you worship after me?"
Оё шумо ҳозир будед, он гоҳ, ки марги Яъқуб фаро расид ва ба фарзандонаш гуфт: «Пас аз ман чӣ чизро мепарастед?»

or do they say: 'he has fabricated it (himself)' say: 'if i had fabricated it, then the sin rests upon me. i reject the sins you do'
Ё мегӯянд, ки онро ба Худо дурӯғ бастааст. Бигӯ: «Агар онро ба Худо дурӯғ баста бошам, гуноҳаш бар ман аст ва ман аз гуноҳе, ки мокунед, мубарро (пок) ҳастам.

say: if i have forged it, you do not control anything for me from allah; he knows best what you utter concerning it; he is enough as a witness between me and you, and he is the forgiving, the merciful.
Бигӯ: «Агар ман онро чун дурӯғе ба ҳам бофта бошам, шумо наметавонед хашми Худоро аз ман боздоред. Худо аз он таънаҳо, ки ба он мезанед, огоҳтар аст.

their hearts trifling; and those who are unjust counsel together in secret: he is nothing but a mortal like yourselves; what! will you then yield to enchantment while you see?
Ва он ситамгарон сар дар гӯши якдигар ниҳоданду пинҳонӣ гуфтанд: «Оё ин мард як инсоне монанди шумо нест? Оё бо он ки ба чашмн худ мебинед, ҳамчунон аз паи ҷоду меравед?»

and (remember) when your lord said to the angels, “i am about to place my caliph in the earth”; they said, “will you place (as a caliph) one who will spread turmoil in it and shed blood? whereas we glorify you with praise and proclaim your sanctity”; he said, “i know what you do not.”
Ва чун Парвардигорат ба фариштагон гуфт: «Ман дар замин халифае меофаринам», гуфтанд: «Оё касеро меофарини, ки дар он ҷо фасод кунад ва хунҳо бирезад ва ҳол он ки мо ба ситоиши Ту тасбеҳ мегӯем ва Туро ба поки иқрор мекунем?». Гуфт: «Ман он донам, ки шумо намедонед».
