Бигӯ: «агар Худо мехост, ман онро бар шумо тиловат намекардам ва шуморо аз он огоҳ намесохтам.

Чун оёти равшани Мо бар онон хонда шуд, гуфтанд: «Ин мардест, ки мехоҳад шуморо аз он чӣ падаронатон мепарастиданд, боздорад».

and as for those who disbelieved: were not my revelations rehearsed unto you? but ye were stiff necked, and ye were a people guilty.
Аммо, эй онон, ки имон наёвардаед, магар оёти Мо бар шумо хонда намешуд ва шумо такаббур менамудед ва мардуме гуноҳкор будед?

and allowed unto you are the cattle, save that which hath been rehearsed unto you; so avoid the pollution of the idols, and avoid the word of falsehood.
Ва чорпоён бар шумо ҳалоланд, ғайри онҳое, ки бароятон хонда шуда. Пас аз бутҳои палиду сухани ботилу дурӯғ парҳез кунед.

Ва чун оёти равшани Мо бар онҳо тиловат шавад, ҳуҷҷаташон ин аст, ки мегӯянд: «Агар рост мегӯед, падарони моро зинда кунед».

Чун оёти равшангари Мо бар онон хонда шавад, нишони инкорро бар чеҳраи кофирон мешиносӣ чунон ки наздик бошад бар онон, ки оётро мехонанд, ҳамлавар шаванд. Бигӯ: «Оё шуморо ба чизе бадтар аз ин огоҳ кунам?

and when it is rehearsed unto them they say: we believe therein: verily it is truth from our lord: verily we have been even before it of those who submit themselves.
Ва чун бар онон тиловат шуд, гуфтанд: «Ба он имон овардем, Ҳаққест аз ҷониби Парвардигори мо ва мо пеш аз он таслим будаем».

thus (is it revealed), that we may strengthen thy heart thereby, and we have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually.
Барои он аст, ки дили туро ба он устуворӣ диҳем ва онро ба оҳистагиву тартиб хонем.

and recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes, of the signs of allah and his wisdom: for allah understands the finest mysteries and is well-acquainted (with them).
Он чиро дар хонаҳоятон аз оёти Худо ва ҳикмат тиловат мешавад,. ёд кунед, ки Худо борикбину огоҳ аст!»
