and it is not for any human that allah may speak to him except as a divine revelation or while the human is on this side of the veil of greatness, or that he sends an angel to reveal by his permission, whatever he wills; indeed he is supreme, wise.
Ҳеҷ башареро нарасад, ки Худо ҷуз ба ваҳй ё аз он сӯи парда бо ӯ сухан гӯяд. Ё фариштае мефиристад то ба фармони Ӯ ҳар чӣ бихоҳад, ба ӯ ваҳй кунад.

and a generation hath succeeded them who inherited the scriptures. they grasp the goods of this low life (as the price of evil-doing) and say: it will be forgiven us.
Баъд аз инҳо гурӯҳе ба ҷояшон нишастанд ва вориси он китоб шуданд, ки ба матоъи дунявӣ дил бастанд ва гуфтанд, ки ба зудӣ омурзида мешавем.

and surely they do know that he who trafficketh therein will have no (happy) portion in the hereafter; and surely evil is the price for which they sell their souls, if they but knew.
