Гуфтанд: «Оё аз фармони Худо таъаҷҷуб мекунӣ?

Оё надонистаӣ, ки Худо ҳар чиро, ки дар осмонҳову замин аст, медонад?

are you not aware that allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth?
Оё надонистаӣ, ки Худо ҳар чиро дар осмонҳову замин аст, медонад?

[but god will answer], are you not those who swore that you would never suffer any decline?
Оё шумо пеш аз ин савганд намехӯрдед, ки ҳаргиз завол намеёбед? (намемиред).

he said, "o my people, why are you impatient for evil instead of good?
Гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, чаро пеш аз некӣ бар бадӣ мешитобед?

"are you not those to whom my revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?"
Оё оятҳои Ман бароятон хонда намешуд ва онҳо- ро дурӯғ меҳисобидед?

(but they will be clearly told): "are you not the same who swore earlier that they shall never suffer decline?"
Оё шумо пеш аз ин савганд намехӯрдед, ки ҳаргиз завол намеёбед? (намемиред).

and those who do evil will be flung down on their faces in the fire. are you not rewarded according to your deeds?
Ва ононро, ки корҳои бад мекунанд, сарнагун дар оташ андозанд, оё ҷуз мувофиқи корҳое, ки кардаед, ҷазо ёбед?

(but they will be told,): "are you not those who used to swear: 'there is no reverse for us?'
Оё шумо пеш аз ин савганд намехӯрдед, ки ҳаргиз завол намеёбед? (намемиред).

and when ibrahim said, “my lord! show me how you will give life to the dead”; he said, “are you not certain (of it)?”
Иброҳим гуфт: «Эй Парвардигори ман, ба ман бинамой, ки мурдагонро чӣ гуна зинда месозӣ».
