ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! உங்கள் தந்தைமார்களும் உங்கள் சகோதரர்களும், ஈமானை விட்டு குஃப்ரை நேசிப்பார்களானால், அவர்களை நீங்கள் பாதுகாப்பளர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள். உங்களில் யாரேனும் அவர்களை பாதுகாப்பாளர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டால், அவர்கள் தான் அநியாயக்காரர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

believers! do not take for your allies those who make a mockery and sport of your faith, be they those given the book before you or other unbelievers. fear allah if you indeed believe.
முஃமின்களே! உங்களுக்குமுன் வேதம் வழங்கப்பட்டவர்களிலிருந்தும், காஃபிர்களிலிருந்தும், யார் உங்கள் மார்க்கத்தைப் பரிகாசமாகவும், விளையாட்டாகவும் எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்களோ அவர்களை நீங்கள் பாதுபாவலர்களாக ஆக்கிக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள்;. நீங்கள் முஃமின்களாக இருந்தால் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

do not be weak hearted and do not appeal for an (unjust) settlement; you have the upper hand. god is with you and he will never reduce the reward for your deeds.
(முஃமின்களே! போரில்) நீங்கள் தளர்ச்சியடைந்து, தைரியமிழந்து சமாதானத்தைக் கோராதீர்கள்; (ஏனென்றால்) நீங்கள் தாம் மேலோங்குபவர்கள்; அல்லாஹ் உங்களுடனேயே இருக்கின்றான் - மேலும், அவன் உங்கள் (நற்) செய்கைகளை உங்களுக்கு (ஒரு போதும்) குறைத்து விடமாட்டான்.

and do not repel those who call upon their lord in the morning and evening, seeking his pleasure; you are not responsible for their account nor are they responsible for your account – then your repelling them would be far from justice.
(நயியே!) தங்கள் இறைவனுடைய திருப் பொருத்தத்தை நாடி, எவர் காலையிலும் மாலையிலும், அவனை(ப் பிரார்த்தித்து) அழைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களை நீர் விரட்டி விடாதீர்; அவர்களுடைய கேள்வி கணக்குப் பற்றி உம்மீது பொறுப்பில்லை, உம்முடைய கேள்வி கணக்குப் பற்றி அவர்கள் மீதும் யாதொரு பொறுப்புமில்லை - எனவே நீர் அவர்களை விரட்டி விட்டால், நீரும் அநியாயம் செய்பவர்களில் ஒருவராகி விடுவீர்.

and they (even) assign, to things they do not know, a portion out of that which we have bestowed for their sustenance! by allah, ye shall certainly be called to account for your false inventions.
இன்னும், அவர்கள் நாம் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்துள்ளதில் ஒரு பாகத்தைத் தாம் அறியாத (பொய் தெய்வங்களுக்காக) குறிப்பிட்டு வைக்கிறார்கள்; அல்லாஹ்வின் மேல் ஆணையாக! நீங்கள் இட்டுக் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்த (இவை) பற்றி நிச்சயமாக கேட்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

believers! do not take the jews and the christians for your allies. they are the allies of each other. and among you he who takes them for allies, shall be regarded as one of them. allah does not guide the wrong-doers.
முஃமின்களே! யூதர்களையும், கிறிஸ்தவர்களையும் உங்களுடைய பாதுகாவலர்களாக ஆக்கிக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள். (உங்களுக்கு விரோதம் செய்வதில்) அவர்கள் தம்மில் சிலர் சிலருக்குப் பாதுகாவலர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். உங்களில் எவரேனும் அவர்களைப் பாதுகாவலர்களாக ஆக்கினால் நிச்சயமாக அவரும் அவர்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்தான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அநியாயக்கார மக்களுக்கு நேர்வழி காட்டமாட்டான்.

believers, spend of the good you have earned and of that which we have brought out of the earth for you. and do not intend the bad of it for your spending; while you would never take it yourselves, except you closed an eye on it. know that allah is rich, the praised.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோரே! நீங்கள் சம்பாதித்தவற்றிலிருந்தும், பூமியிலிருந்து நாம் உங்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தித் தந்த (தானியங்கள், கனி வகைகள் போன்ற)வற்றிலிருந்தும், நல்லவற்றையே (தான தர்மங்களில்) செலவு செய்யுங்கள்;. அன்றியும் கெட்டவற்றைத் தேடி அவற்றிலிருந்து சிலவற்றை (தான தர்மங்களில்) செலவழிக்க நாடாதீர்கள்;. ஏனெனில் (அத்தகைய பொருள்களை வேறெவரும் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தால் வெறுப்புடன்), கண் மூடிக் கொண்டேயல்லாது அவற்றை நீங்கள் வாங்க மாட்டீர்கள்! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (எவரிடத்தும், எந்தத்) தேவையுமற்றவனாகவும், புகழுக்கெல்லாம் உரியவனுமாகவும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதை நீங்கள் நன்கறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

and he created horses and mules and asses for you to ride, and also for your adornment. and he creates many things (for you) that you do not even know about.
இன்னும், குதிரைகள், கோவேறு கழுதைகள், கழுதைகள் ஆகியவற்றை நீங்கள் ஏறிச்செல்வதற்காகவும், அலங்காரமாகவும், (அவனே படைத்துள்ளான்;) இன்னும், நீங்கள் அறியாதவற்றையும் அவன் படைக்கிறான்.
