நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களுக்கு (இறைவனால்) அனுப்பப் பெற்ற நம்பிக்கைக்குரிய தூதன் ஆவேன்.

i am for you an honest messenger.
"ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சங்கள்; எனக்கும் வழிப்படுங்கள்.

i am for you a faithful messenger, so fear you god, and obey you me.
"ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சங்கள்; எனக்கும் வழிப்படுங்கள்.

i convey unto you the messages of my lord and am for you a true adviser.
"நான் என் இறைவனுடைய தூதையே உங்களிடம் எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றேன். மேலும் நான் உங்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கையான உபதேசியாகவும் இருக்கின்றேன்" (என்று கூறினார்).

and he swore to them, 'truly, i am for you a sincere adviser.'
"நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களிருவருக்கும் நற்போதனை செய்பவனாக இருக்கிறேன்" என்று சத்தியம் செய்து கூறினான்.

proclaim, “o mankind, i am for you only a clear herald of warning.”
"மனிதர்களே! நான் உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக எச்சரிப்பவனாகவே இருக்கின்றேன்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

saying, 'deliver to me god's servants; i am for you a faithful messenger,
அவர் (கூறினார்;) "என்னிடம் நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் அடியார்களை ஒப்படைத்து விடுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கைக்குரிய (இறை) தூதனாவேன்.

and indeed we sent nooh to his people that, “indeed i am for you a clear herald of warning.”
நிச்சயமாக நாம் நூஹை அவருடைய சமூகத்தாரிடம் அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்; அவர் (அவர்களை நோக்கி) "நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களுக்கு பகிரங்கமாக அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவன்."

“that do not worship anyone except allah; indeed i am for you a herald of warning and glad tidings, from him.”
நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (வேறு எதனையும்) வணங்காதீர்கள். "நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களுக்கு அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பவனாகவும், நன்மாராயம் கூறுபவனாகவும், நான் அவனிடமிருந்து (அனுப்பப்பட்டு) இருக்கிறேன்" (என்றும்).

indeed, there is for you a good example in ibrahim and those with him when they said to their people: surely we are clear of you and of what you serve besides allah; we declare ourselves to be clear of you, and enmity and hatred have appeared between us and you forever until you believe in allah alone-- but not in what ibrahim said to his father: i would certainly ask forgiveness for you, and i do not control for you aught from allah-- our lord! on thee do we rely, and to thee do we turn, and to thee is the eventual coming:
இப்றாஹீமிடமும், அவரோடு இருந்தவர்களிடமும், நிச்சயமாக உங்களுக்கு ஓர் அழகிய முன்மாதிரி இருக்கிறது, தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம் அவர்கள், "உங்களை விட்டும், இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி நீங்கள் வணங்குகிறவற்றைவிட்டும், நாங்கள் நிச்சயமாக நீங்கிக் கொண்டோம்; உங்களையும் நாங்கள் நிராகரித்து விட்டோம், அன்றியும் ஏகனான அல்லாஹ் ஒருவன் மீதே நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளும் வரை, நமக்கும் உங்களுக்குமிடையில் பகைமையும், வெறுப்பும் நிரந்தரமாக ஏற்பட்டு விட்டன" என்றார்கள். ஆனால் இப்றாஹீம் தம் தந்தையை நோக்கி, "அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் உங்களுக்காக (அவனுடைய வேதனையிலிருந்து) எதையும் தடுக்க எனக்குச் சக்தி கிடையாது, ஆயினும் உங்களுக்காக நான் அவனிடத்தில் நிச்சயமாக மன்னிப்புத் தேடுவேன்" எனக் கூறியதைத் தவிர (மற்ற எல்லாவற்றிலும் முன் மாதிரியிருக்கிறது, அன்றியும், அவர் கூறினார்); "எங்கள் இறைவா! உன்னையே முற்றிலும் சார்ந்திருக்கிறோம்; (எதற்கும்) நாங்கள் உன்னையே நோக்ககிறோம் மேலும், உன்னிடமே எங்கள் மீளுதலும் இருக்கிறது,"
