o believers, fight the unbelievers who are near to you; and let them find in you a harshness; and know that god is with the godfearing.

o ye who believe! fight the infidels who are near unto you, and surely let them find in you sternness, and know that allah is with the god-fearing,

and when you are journeying in the land there is no fault in you that you shorten the prayer, if you fear the unbelievers may afflict you; the unbelievers are for you a manifest foe.
நீங்கள் பூமியில் பிரயாணம் செய்யும்போது, காஃபிர்கள் உங்களுக்கு விஷமம் செய்வார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் அஞ்சினால், அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் தொழுகையைச் சுருக்கிக் கொள்வது உங்கள் மீது குற்றம் ஆகாது. நிச்சயமாக காஃபிர்கள் உங்களுக்குப் பகிரங்கமான பகைவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.

o you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that allah is with those who guard (against evil).
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களே! உங்களை அடுத்திருக்கும் (தொல்லை விளைவிக்கும்) காஃபிர்களுடன் போர் புரியுங்கள்; உங்களிடம் கடுமையை அவர்கள் காணட்டும் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களுடன் இருக்கிறன். என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

and when you are journeying in the land, there is no fault in you that you shorten the prayer if you fear that those who disbelieve will afflict you. indeed, the unbelievers are a clear enemy for you.
