அவர்கள் (ஏதேனும்) ஓர் அத்தாட்சியைக் கண்டாலும், (அதை) மெத்தப்பரிகாசம் செய்கின்றனர்.

we suffice you against those who mock,
உம்மை ஏளனம் செய்பவர்கள் சம்பந்தமாக நாமே உமக்குப் போதுமாக இருக்கின்றோம்.

no messenger went to them whom they did not mock.
எனினும் அவர்களிடம் (நம்முடைய) எந்தத் தூதர் வந்தாலும் அவரை அந்த மக்கள் ஏளனம் செய்யாமல் இருந்ததில்லை.

எனினும் அவர்களிடம் (நம்முடைய) எந்தத் தூதர் வந்தாலும் அவரை அந்த மக்கள் ஏளனம் செய்யாமல் இருந்ததில்லை.

and not a prophet came unto them but him they were wont to mock.
ஆனால் அவர்களிடம் வந்த நபி ஒவ்வொருவரையும் அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்யாது இருக்கவில்லை.

and never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him.
எனினும் அவர்களிடம் (நம்முடைய) எந்தத் தூதர் வந்தாலும் அவரை அந்த மக்கள் ஏளனம் செய்யாமல் இருந்ததில்லை.

அல்லாஹ் இவர்களைப் பரிகசிக்கிறான். இன்னும் இவர்களின் வழிகேட்டிலேயே கபோதிகளாகத் தட்டழியும்படி விட்டு விடுகிறான்.

alas for my servants! never does a messenger come to them but they mock him.
அந்தோ! அடியார்கள் மீது கைசேதமே! அவர்களிடம் எந்தத்தூதர் வந்தாலும், அவரை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்யாதிருந்ததில்லை.

alas for mankind! there never came a messenger to them but they used to mock at him.
அந்தோ! அடியார்கள் மீது கைசேதமே! அவர்களிடம் எந்தத்தூதர் வந்தாலும், அவரை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்யாதிருந்ததில்லை.

and the evils of their deeds appeared to them, and the punishment they used to mock at encompassed them.
அவர்கள் செய்த தீமையெல்லாம் (அந்நாளில்) அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும்; எதை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ, அதுவே அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்.

ah, woe for those servants! never comes unto them a messenger, but they mock at him.
அந்தோ! அடியார்கள் மீது கைசேதமே! அவர்களிடம் எந்தத்தூதர் வந்தாலும், அவரை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்யாதிருந்ததில்லை.

ah, the anguish for the bondmen! never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him!
அந்தோ! அடியார்கள் மீது கைசேதமே! அவர்களிடம் எந்தத்தூதர் வந்தாலும், அவரை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்யாதிருந்ததில்லை.

so they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them.
திடனாக அவர்கள் (இவ்வேதத்தையும்) பொய்ப்பிக்க முற்படுகிறார்கள்; எனினும், அவர்கள் எதனை பரிகசித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறர்களோ, அதன் (உண்மையான) செய்திகள் அவர்களிடம் சீக்கிரமே வந்து சேரும்.
