எனினும் இவர்கள் (உம்மைப்) புறக்கணித்துத் திரும்பிவிடுவார்களாயின், (நபியே! அதற்காகக் கவலைப்படாதீர்; ஏனெனில்) உம்மீது (கடமையு)ள்ளதெல்லாம் (இறை கட்டளைகளை அவர்களுக்குத்) தெளிவாகச் சேர்ப்பிப்பதுதான்.

verily in this in a preaching for a people who are worshippers.
வணங்கும் மக்களுக்கு இதில் (இக்குர்ஆனில்) நிச்சயமாகப் போதுமான (வழிகாட்டுதல்) இருக்கிறது.

mature wisdom;- but (the preaching of) warners profits them not.
நிறைவான ஞானம் உடையவை - ஆனால் (அவர்களுக்கு அவற்றின்) எச்சரிக்கைகள் பயனளிக்கவில்லை.

bear patiently whatever they say, do not yield to them and keep on preaching decently to them.
அன்றியும், அவர்கள் (உமக்கெதிராகக்) கூறுவதைப் பொறுத்துக் கொள்வீராக, மேலும், அழகான கண்ணியமான - முறையில் அவர்களை விட்டும் வெறுத்து ஒதுங்கி விடுவீராக.

i do not ask any payment for my preaching. i shall receive my reward from the lord of the universe.
"அளவையை நிறைவாக அளவுங்கள்; (அளவையைக்) குறைப்பவர்களாக இராதீர்கள்.

obey allah and obey the apostlle; then if ye turn away, on our apostle is only the preaching manifest.
ஆகவே, நீங்கள், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு வழிபடுங்கள்; (அவனுடைய) இத்தூதருக்கும் வழிபடுங்கள், இதை நீங்கள் புறக்கணித்துப் பின்வாங்கினீர்களானால் (உங்களுக்கே இழப்பாகும்) - நம் தூதர் மீதுள்ள கடமை, தெளிவாக எடுத்துரைப்பதுதான்.

naught resteth there on the apostle except the preaching, and allah knoweth that which ye disclose and that which ye hide.
(இறைவன் கட்டளைகளை) எடுத்துக் கூறுவதே அன்றி இத்தூதர் மீது (வேறு கடமை) இல்லை. இன்னும் நீங்கள் வெளிப்படுத்துவதையும், நீங்கள் மறைத்து வைத்திருப்பதையும் அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிவான்.

and if ye belie me, then communities before you have belied: and upon the apostle is naught but a preaching manifest.
இன்னும் நீங்கள் பொய்ப்பிக்க முற்பட்டால் (தளர்ந்து போவதில்லை - ஏனெனில்) உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த சமுதாயத்தவரும் (அவர்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்ட தூதர்களை இவ்வாறே) பொய்ப்பிக்க முற்பட்டார்கள்; ஆகவே, (இறை) தூதரின் கடமை (தம் தூதை) பகிரங்கமாக எடுத்துரைப்பதன்றி (வேறு) இல்லை."

(muhammad), do you ask for your preaching any recompense which is too heavy a price for them to pay?
நீர் அவர்களிடம் ஏதாவது கூலிகேட்டு, அதனால் அவர்களுக்கு கடன் சுமை ஏற்பட்டு விட்டதா?

(muhammad), say, "i do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for i am not a pretender.
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; ("இக் குர்ஆனுக்காக) நான் உங்களிடம் யாதொரு கூலியும் கேட்கவில்லை அன்றியும், (இதை இட்டுக் கட்டி) சிரமம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டவனும் அல்லன்.

tell them, "i ask no recompense for my preaching to you, except the fact that whoever wants should choose the way of god."
"அதற்காக நான் உங்களிடம் எந்தக் கூலியையும் கேட்கவில்லை - விருப்பமுள்ளவர் தம் இறைவனிடத்து(ச் செல்ல) நேர் வழியை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொள்ளட்டும் என்பதைத் தவிர" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.

if you turn away from my preaching, it will not harm me; i shall receive my reward from god who has commanded me to become a muslim."
"ஆனால், நிங்கள் (என் உபதேசத்தைப்) புறக்கணித்து விட்டால், (எனக்கு எவ்வித இழப்புமில்லை.) ஏனெனில் (இதற்காக) நான் உங்களிடம் யாதொரு கூலியும் கேட்கவில்லை; எனக்குரிய கூலி அல்லாஹ்விடமேயன்றி (வேறெவரிடத்தும்) இல்லை. நான் அவனுக்கு (முற்றிலும் வழிப்பட்ட) முஸ்லீம்களில் (ஒருவனாக) இருக்குமாறே நான் ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்" (என்று கூறினார்0.

preaching to unbelievers is like talking to someone who cannot hear anything except yells and shouts. they are deaf, dumb, and blind; they have no understanding.
அந்த காஃபிர்களுக்கு உதாரணம் என்னவென்றால்; ஒரு (ஆடு, மாடு மேய்ப்ப)வனின் கூப்பாட்டையும், கூச்சலையும் தவிர வேறெதையும் கேட்டு, அறிய இயலாதவை(கால் நடை) போன்றவர்கள்;. அவர்கள் செவிடர்களாகவும், ஊமையர்களாகவும், குருடர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர்;. அவர்கள் எ(ந்த நற்போ)தனையும் உணர்ந்து கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள்.

and we relate to you all the accounts of noble messengers, in order to steady your heart with it; and in this the truth has come to you, and for the muslims a preaching and advice.
(நம்) தூதர்களின் வரலாறுகளிலிருந்து (இவை) யாவற்றையும் உம் இதயத்தைத் திடப்படுத்துவதற்காக உமக்குக் கூறினோம். இவற்றில் உமக்குச் சத்தியமும் நல்லுபதேசமும், முஃமின்களுக்கு நினைவூட்டலும் வந்து இருக்கின்றன.

or is it that you (o muhammad saw) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of islamic monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt?
அல்லது, நீர் அவர்களிடம் ஏதாவது கூலி கேட்டு, (அதைக் கொடுத்ததினால்) அவர்கள் கடன் பட்டு சுமையேற்றப்பட்டிருக்கின்றார்களா,

(muhammad), tell them the story of noah who told his people, "even if my belief and my preaching of the revelation of god seem strange to you, i put my trust in him. unite yourselves and seek help from your idols. you should not regret what you want to do, but should execute your plans against me without delay
மேலும் (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களுக்கு நூஹ்வின் சரித்திரத்தை ஓதிக்காண்பிப்பீராக! அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாதை நோக்கி, "என் சமூகத்தாரே! நான் (உங்களிடையே) இருப்பதும் நான் (உங்களுக்கு) அல்லாஹ்வின் அத்தாட்சிகளை நினைவூட்டுவதும் உங்களுக்குப் பளுவாக இருக்குமானால் - நான் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதே முழு நம்பிக்கை வைத்துள்ளேன்; (உங்கள் முயற்சியில் ஏதேனும்) குறைவு செய்து விட்டதாகப் பின்னர் உங்களுக்கு ஐயம் ஏற்படாதவாறு, நீங்கள் இணை வைப்பவற்றையும் ஒன்று சேர்த்துக் கொண்டு, நீங்கள் யாவரும் சேர்ந்து உங்கள் காரியத்தை முடிவு செய்யுங்கள் - பின்னர் (எனக்கெதிராக) நீங்கள் திட்டமிடுவதை என்னில் நிறைவேற்றுங்கள்; இதில் நீங்கள் தாமதம்செய்ய வேண்டாம்" என்று கூறினார்.
