குறைஷிகளுக்கு விருப்பம் உண்டாக்கி,

because of giving alliances to the quraish.
குறைஷிகளுக்கு விருப்பம் உண்டாக்கி,

quraish should worship the lord of this house.
மாரி காலத்துடையவும் கோடைக்காலத்துடையவும் பிரயாணத்தில் அவர்களுக்கு மன விருப்பத்தை உண்டாக்கியமைக்காக-

as to these (quraish), they say forsooth:
நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (மக்கா காஃபிர்கள்) கூறுகிறார்கள்;

verily, these (quraish) people are saying:
நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (மக்கா காஃபிர்கள்) கூறுகிறார்கள்;

for the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the quraish,
குறைஷிகளுக்கு விருப்பம் உண்டாக்கி,

verily, it is of their falsehood that they (quraish pagans) say:
"அறிந்து கொள்க! நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் தங்கள் கற்பனையில் தான் கூறுகின்றனர்."

as we have sent down on the dividers, (quraish pagans or jews and christians).
(நபியே! முன் வேதங்களை) பலவாறாகப் பிரித்தவர்கள் மீது முன்னர் நாம் (வேதனையை) இறக்கியவாறே,

(it is a great grace and protection from allah), for the taming of the quraish,
குறைஷிகளுக்கு விருப்பம் உண்டாக்கி,

are your unbelievers, (o quraish), better than they? or have ye an immunity in the sacred books?
(சென்று போன) அவர்களை விட உங்களிலுள்ள காஃபிர்கள் மேலானவர்களா? அல்லது, உங்களுக்கு (வேதனையிலிருந்து) விலக்கு இருப்பதாக வேத ஆதாரம் உண்டா?

then, o people of quraish, you too must return from the place where the people return from, and ask forgiveness from allah; indeed allah is oft forgiving, most merciful.
பிறகு, நீங்கள் மற்ற மனிதர்கள் திரும்புகின்ற (முஸ்தலிஃபா என்னும்) இடத்திலிருந்து நீங்களும் திரும்பிச் செல்லுங்கள்; (அங்கு அதாவது மினாவில்) அல்லாஹ்விடம் மன்னிப்புப் கேளுங்கள்;. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்போனாகவும், மிக்க கருணையுடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

(and with all those allah's grace and protections for their taming, we cause) the (quraish) caravans to set forth safe in winter (to the south), and in summer (to the north without any fear),
