இன்னும், (வரப் போகும்) அந்நாளிலிருந்து, உங்களைக் காப்பாற்றிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்;. அன்று ஓர் ஆத்மா பிறிதோர் ஆத்மாவுக்கு உதவி செய்ய இயலாது. அதனிடமிருந்து (அதன் பாவங்களுக்குப் பரிகாரமாக) எந்த நஷ்ட ஈடும் ஒப்புக்கொள்ளப்பட மாட்டாது. எந்த சிபாரிசும் அதற்கு பலனளிக்காது. அவர்கள்(எவர் மூலமாகவும் எந்த) உதவியும் செய்யப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.

and beware of a day when no soul for another shall give satisfaction, and no intercession shall be accepted from it, nor any counterpoise be taken, neither shall they be helped.
இன்னும், ஒர் ஆத்மா மற்றோர் ஆத்மாவிற்கு சிறிதும் பயன்பட முடியாதே (அந்த) ஒரு நாளை நீங்கள் அஞ்சி நடப்பீர்களாக! (அந்த நாளில்) எந்தப் பரிந்துரையும் அதற்காக ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்படமாட்டாது, அதற்காக எந்தப் பதிலீடும் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளப்பட மாட்டாது, அன்றியும் (பாவம் செய்த) அவர்கள் உதவி செய்யப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

இன்னும், (வரப் போகும்) அந்நாளிலிருந்து, உங்களைக் காப்பாற்றிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்;. அன்று ஓர் ஆத்மா பிறிதோர் ஆத்மாவுக்கு உதவி செய்ய இயலாது. அதனிடமிருந்து (அதன் பாவங்களுக்குப் பரிகாரமாக) எந்த நஷ்ட ஈடும் ஒப்புக்கொள்ளப்பட மாட்டாது. எந்த சிபாரிசும் அதற்கு பலனளிக்காது. அவர்கள்(எவர் மூலமாகவும் எந்த) உதவியும் செய்யப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.

but those who did wrong changed the word which had been told them for another saying, and we sent down upon the evil-doers wrath from heaven for their evil-doing.
ஆனால் அக்கிரமக்காரர்கள் தம்மிடம் கூறப்பட்ட வார்த்தையை அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்படாத வேறு வார்த்தையாக மாற்றிக் கொண்டார்கள்; ஆகவே அக்கிரமங்கள் செய்தவர்கள் மீது - (இவ்வாறு அவர்கள்) பாபம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த காரணத்தினால் வானத்திலிருந்து நாம் வேதனையை இறக்கிவைத்தோம்.

(நபியே!) நாம் ஒரு வசனத்தை மற்றொரு வசனத்தின் இடத்தில் மாற்றினால், (உம்மிடம்) "நிச்சயமாக நீர் இட்டுக்கட்டுபவராக இருக்கின்றீர்" என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்; எ(ந்த நேரத்தில், எ)தை இறக்க வேண்டுமென்பதை அல்லாஹ்வே நன்கறிந்தவன், எனினும் அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (இவ்வுண்மையை) அறிய மாட்டார்கள்.

and fear the day (of resurrection) when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will any intercession be accepted for the disbelievers, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation nor will they be helped.
இன்னும், ஒர் ஆத்மா மற்றோர் ஆத்மாவிற்கு சிறிதும் பயன்பட முடியாதே (அந்த) ஒரு நாளை நீங்கள் அஞ்சி நடப்பீர்களாக! (அந்த நாளில்) எந்தப் பரிந்துரையும் அதற்காக ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்படமாட்டாது, அதற்காக எந்தப் பதிலீடும் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளப்பட மாட்டாது, அன்றியும் (பாவம் செய்த) அவர்கள் உதவி செய்யப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

ஒரு கூட்டத்தாரை அவன் நேர் வழியிலாக்கினான்; இன்னொரு கூட்டதாருக்கு வழிகேடு உறுதியாகி விட்டது ஏனெனில் நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை விட்டு ஷைத்தான்களை பாதுகாவலர்களாக்கிக் கொண்டார்கள் - எனினும் தாங்கள் நேர்வழி பெற்றவர்கள் என்று எண்ணுகிறார்கள்.

a party he has guided to the right way, and for another party straying is justly its due for they have taken satans, rather than allah, as their guardians, even though they think that they are rightly-guided.
ஒரு கூட்டத்தாரை அவன் நேர் வழியிலாக்கினான்; இன்னொரு கூட்டதாருக்கு வழிகேடு உறுதியாகி விட்டது ஏனெனில் நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை விட்டு ஷைத்தான்களை பாதுகாவலர்களாக்கிக் கொண்டார்கள் - எனினும் தாங்கள் நேர்வழி பெற்றவர்கள் என்று எண்ணுகிறார்கள்.

it is the day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that day, is [entirely] with allah.
அந்நாளில் ஓர் அத்மா பிறிதோர் ஆத்மாவுக்கு எதுவும் செய்ய சக்தி பெறாது, அதிகாரம் முழுவதும் அன்று அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே.
