மேலும் நாம் பூமியை நீட்டி விரிவாக்கி, அதில் உறுதியான மலைகளை அதை; துள்ளோம்; மேலும் அதில் அழகிய புற்பூண்டுகளை (ஆண், பெண் வகையுள்ள) ஜோடியாக முளைப்பிக்கவும் செய்திருக்கின்றோம்.

and the earth! we have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and we have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed.

கப்பல்கள் அவன் கட்டளையைக் கொண்டு (கடலில்) செல்லும் பொருட்டும், நீங்கள் அவனுடைய அருளைத் தேடிக்கொள்ளும் பொருட்டும்; மேலும் அவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும் பொருட்டும் உங்களுக்குக் கடலை வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தவன் அல்லாஹ்வே ஆவான்.

that you may firmly sit on their backs, then remember the favor of your lord when you are firmly seated thereon, and say: glory be to him who made this subservient to us and we were not able to do it
அவற்றின் முதுகுகளின் மீது நீங்கள் உறுதியாக அமர்ந்து கொள்வதற்காக் அவற்றின் மேல் நீங்கள் உறுதியாக அமர்ந்ததும், உங்கள் இறைவனுடைய அருளை நினைவு கூர்ந்து "இதன் மீது (செல்ல) சக்தியற்றவர்களாக இருந்த எங்களுக்கு, இதனை வசப்படுத்தித்தந்த அ(வ் விறை)வன் மிக்க பரிசுத்தமானவன்" என்று நீங்கள் கூறுவதற்காகவும்.

and the earth we have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance.
பூமியை நாம் விரித்து அதில் உறுதியான, (அசையா) மலைகளை நிலைப் படுத்தினோம்; ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் அதற்குரிய அளிவின் படி அதில் நாம் முளைப்பித்தோம்.

and he it is who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding his mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), we lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. thus bring we forth the dead. haply ye may remember.
அவன் தான், தன்னுடைய அருள் (மாரிக்)கு முன், நற்செய்தியாக (குளிர்ந்த) காற்றுகளை அனுப்பிவைக்கிறான் அவை கனத்த மேகங்களைச் சுமக்கலானதும் நாம் அவற்றை இறந்து கிடக்கும் (வரண்ட) பூமியின் பக்கம் ஓட்டிச் சென்று, அதிலிருந்து மழையைப் பொழியச் செய்கின்றோம்; பின்னர் அதைக் கொண்டு எல்லாவிதமான கனிவகை (விளைச்சல்)களையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம் - இவ்வாறே நாம் இறந்தவர்களையும் எழுப்புவோம்.
