และเจ้าจงอย่าโต้เถียงแทนบรรดาผู้ที่บิดพริ้วต่อตัวของพวกเขาเอง เลย แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺไม่ทรงชอบผู้ที่เคยบิดพริ้ว ที่เคยทำบาป
and saly not your offspring for fear of want; we provide for them and for yourselves; verily their slaying is a great crime.
และพวกเจ้าอย่าฆ่าลูกๆ ของพวกเจ้าเพราะกลัวความยากจน เราให้ปัจจัยยังชีพแก่พวกเขาและแก่พวกเจ้าโดยเฉพาะ แท้จริงการฆ่าพวกเขานั้นเป็นความผิดอันใหญ่หลวง
and argue not on behalf of those who deceive themselves. verily, allah does not like anyone who is a betrayer of his trust, and indulges in crime.
และเจ้าจงอย่าโต้เถียงแทนบรรดาผู้ที่บิดพริ้วต่อตัวของพวกเขาเอง เลย แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺไม่ทรงชอบผู้ที่เคยบิดพริ้ว ที่เคยทำบาป
and (remember) when you killed a man and fell into dispute among yourselves as to the crime. but allah brought forth that which you were hiding.
และจงรำลึกถึงขณะที่พวกเจ้าฆ่าคนคนหนึ่ง แล้วพวกเจ้าต่สงปกป้องตัวเองในเรื่องนั้น และอัลลอฮ์นั้น จะเป็นผู้ทรงเปิดเผยสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าปกปิดไว้
and give unto the orphans their substance, and substitute not the bad for the good; and devour not their substance by adding it to your substance; verily that is a great crime.
และจงให้แก่บรรดาเด็กกำพร้า ซึ่งทรัพย์สมบัติของพวกเขา และจงอย่าเปลี่ยนเอาของเลว ด้วยของดี และจงอย่ากินทรัพย์ของพวกเขาร่วมกับทรัพย์ของพวกเจ้า แท้จริงมันเป็นบาปอันยิ่งใหญ่
but if the thief repents after his crime, and amends his conduct, allah turneth to him in forgiveness; for allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.
แล้วผู้ใดสำนึกผิดกลับเนื้อกลับตัวหลังจากการอธรรมของเขา และแก้ไขปรับปรุงแล้ว แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺจะทรงอภัยโทษให้แก่พวกเขา แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺนั้นเป็นผู้ทรงอภัยโทษ ผู้ทรงเอ็นดูเมตตาเสมอ
