เพื่อเราจะให้มีชีวิตด้วยมัน (น้ำ) แก่แผ่นดินที่แห้งแล้ง และเราจะให้สิ่งที่เราสร้างมันขึ้นมา เช่น ปศุสัตว์ และมนุษย์มากมาย ดื่มมัน

for all the land which thou seest, to thee will i give it, and to thy seed for ever.
เพราะว่าแผ่นดินทั้งหมดซึ่งเจ้าเห็นนี้เราจะยกให้เจ้าและเชื้อสายของเจ้าตลอดไปเป็นนิตย

และหากว่าอัลลอฮ์ ทรงให้ความเดือดร้อนอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดประสบแก่เจ้า แล้วก็ไม่มีผู้ใดจะเปลื้องมันได้ นอกจากพระองค์เท่านั้น และหากพระองค์ทรงให้ความดีอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดประสบแก่เจ้า แท้จริงพระองค์นั้นทรงเดชานุภาพเหนือทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง

and we have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. and indeed, we are able to take it away.
และเราได้หลั่งน้ำให้ลงมาจากฟากฟ้าตามปริมาณ แล้วเราได้ให้มันขังอยู่ในแผ่นดิน และแท้จริงเราเป็นผู้สามารถอย่างแน่นอนที่จะให้มันเหือดหายไป

และจงให้แก่บรรดาหญิงซึ่งมะฮัรของนาง ด้วยความเต็มใจ แต่ถ้านางเห็นชอบที่จะให้สิ่งหนึ่งแก่พวกเจ้าจากมะฮัรนั้นแล้ว ก็จงบริโภคสิ่งนั้นด้วยความเอร็ดอร่อยและโอชา

and because they used to take usury whereas they were forbidden from it, and they used to wrongfully devour people’s wealth; and for the disbelievers among them, we have kept prepared a painful punishment.

and if you decide to dispense with a wife in order to take another, do not take away anything of what you might have given the first one, even if you had given her a heap of gold. would you take it back by slandering her and committing a manifest wrong?
และหากพวกเจ้าต้องการเปลี่ยนคู่ครองคนหนึ่งแทนที่ของคู่ครองอีกคนหนึ่ง และพวกเจ้าได้ให้แก่นางหนึ่งในหมู่นางเหล่านั้น ซึ่งทรัพย์อันมากมายก็ตาม ก็จงอย่าได้เอาสิ่งใดจากทรัพย์นั้นคืน พวกเจ้าจะเอามันคืนด้วยการอุปโลกน์ความเท็จและการกระทำบาปอันชัดเจนกระนั้นหรือ

and of men is he who takes instead frivolous discourse to lead astray from allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall have an abasing chastisement.
และในหมู่มนุษย์มีผู้ซื้อเอาเรื่องไร้สาระ เพื่อทำให้เขาหลงไปจากทางของอัลลอฮฺ โดยปราศจากความรู้ และถือเอามันเป็นเรื่องขบขัน ชนเหล่านี้พวกเขาจะได้รับการลงโทษอันอัปยศ

and ornan said unto david, take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo,i give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; i give it all.
แล้วโอรนันกราบทูลดาวิดว่า "ขอทรงรับไปเถิดพ่ะย่ะค่ะ และขอกษัตริย์เจ้านายของข้าพระองค์กระทำสิ่งที่พระองค์ทรงเห็นชอบเถิด นี่พ่ะย่ะค่ะ ข้าพระองค์ขอถวายวัวสำหรับเครื่องเผาบูชา และถวายเลื่อนนวดข้าวให้เป็นฟืน แล้วข้าวสาลีเป็นธัญญบูชา ข้าพระองค์ขอถวายหมด
