i have been sent as a trusted messenger to you.
แท้จริงฉันคือ ร่อซูลผู้ซื่อสัตย์สำหรับพวกท่าน

i have been commanded to be the first to submit."
และฉันได้ถูกบัญชาให้ฉันเป็นคนแรกของปวงชนผู้นอบน้อม

he said: i have no knowledge of that which they have been working.
เขา (นูห์) กล่าวว่า ฉันไม่มีความรู้อันใดเลยในสิ่งที่พวกเขาปฏิบัติกัน

and i have been commanded to be the first of those that surrender.'
และฉันได้ถูกบัญชาให้ฉันเป็นคนแรกของปวงชนผู้นอบน้อม

no associate has he. even so i have been commanded, and i am the first of those that surrender.'
ไม่มีภาคีใด ๆ แก่พระองค์ และด้วยสิ่งนั้นแหละข้าพระองค์ถูกใช้ และข้าพระองค์คือคนแรกในหมู่ผู้สวามิภักดิ์ทั้งหลาย

say, ‘i have been commanded to worship allah with exclusive faith in him,
จงกล่าวเถิดมุฮัมมัด แท้จริงฉันได้ถูกบัญชาให้เคารพภักดีต่ออัลลอฮฺ โดยเป็นผู้มีความบริสุทธิ์ใจในศาสนาต่อพระองค์

noah said, "my lord, i have been preaching to my people, night and day,
เขากล่าวว่า ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ แท้จริงข้าพระองค์ได้เรียกร้องเชิญชวนหมู่ชนของข้าพระองค์ทั้งกลางคืนและกลางวัน

do not choose other gods besides him. i have been sent from him to plainly warn you".
และพวกท่านอย่าตั้งพระเจ้าอื่นใดเป็นภาคีกับอัลลอฮ. แท้จริง ฉันเป็นผู้ตักเตือนอย่างเปิดเผยจากพระองค์แก่พวกท่าน

and i have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the muslims."
และฉันได้ถูกบัญชาให้ฉันเป็นคนแรกของปวงชนผู้นอบน้อม

and i have been commanded to be the foremost of those who submit [to him].’
และฉันได้ถูกบัญชาให้ฉันเป็นคนแรกของปวงชนผู้นอบน้อม

then he invoked his lord (saying): "i have been overcome, so help (me)!"
เขาจึงวิงวอนขอต่อพระเจ้าของเขาว่า แท้จริงข้าพระองค์ถูกพิชิตเสียแล้ว ได้โปรดช่วยเหลือ(ข้าพระองค์)ด้วย

"he has no partner. and of this i have been commanded, and i am the first of the muslims."
ไม่มีภาคีใด ๆ แก่พระองค์ และด้วยสิ่งนั้นแหละข้าพระองค์ถูกใช้ และข้าพระองค์คือคนแรกในหมู่ผู้สวามิภักดิ์ทั้งหลาย

(muhammad), tell them,"seek refuge in god. i have been sent from him to plainly warn you.
ดังนั้นพวกท่านจงเร่งรีบไปหาอัลลอฮ. แท้จริง ฉันเป็นผู้ตักเตือนอย่างเปิดเผยจากพระองค์แก่พวกท่าน

he said: the knowledge is with allah only. i convey unto you that wherewith i have been sent, but i see you are a folk that know not.
เขา (ฮูด) กล่าวว่า แท้จริงความรู้ (เรื่องการลงโทษ) นั้นอยู่ที่อัลลอฮฺ และฉันขอประกาศแก่พวกท่านตามที่ฉันได้ถูกส่งมาเพื่อการนี้ แต่ฉันเห็นว่าพวกท่านเป็นหมู่ชนผู้งมงาย

but if they turn away, say, ‘i have proclaimed to you all alike, and i do not know whether what you have been promised is far or near.
หากพวกเขาผินหลังให้ ก็จงกล่าวเถิดมุฮัมมัดว่า “ฉันได้ประกาศแจ้งให้พวกท่านทราบแล้วโดยถ้วนหน้า และฉันไม่รู้ว่าสิ่งที่พวกท่านถูกสัญญาไว้นั้น จะอยู่ใกล้หรือไกล”

but he was not long in coming, and reported: "i have been around where you have not been. i come from saba with positive news.

if there are some among you who believe in that which i have been sent and others who disbelieve it, be patient until allah shall judge between us. he is the best of judges'
“และถ้าหากว่ามีกลุ่มหนึ่งในหมู่พวกท่านศรัทธาต่อสิ่งที่ฉันถูกส่งให้นำสิ่งนั้นมา และอีกกลุ่มหนึ่งมิได้ศรัทธาแล้วก็จงอดทนไปเถิดจนกว่าอัลลอฮ์จะทรงชี้ขาดระหว่างเรา และพระองค์นั้นคือผู้ที่ดีเยี่ยมในหมู่ผู้ชี้ขาดทั้งหลาย”

"i have not gone astray, o my people," he said, "but have been sent by my lord, the creator of all the worlds.
“เขากล่าวว่า โอ้ประชาชาติของฉัน! ไม่มีความหลงผิดใด ๆ อยู่ที่ฉัน แต่ทว่าฉัน คือฑูตคนหนึ่ง ซึ่งมาจากพระเจ้าแห่งสากลโลก”

(such were the circumstances) when we sent forth noah to his people. (he said): 'i have been sent to you to warn you plainly
และโดยแน่นอน เราได้ส่งนุห์ไปยังกลุ่มชนของเขา (โดยกล่าวว่า) “แท้จริงฉันเป็นผู้ตักเตือนอันแน่ชัดแก่พวกท่านแล้ว
