کہہ دے اگر تمہارے باپ اور بیٹے اور بھائی اوربیویاں اور برادری اور مال جو تم نے کمائے ہیں اور سوداگری جس کے بند ہونے سے تم ڈرتے ہو اور مکانات جنہیں تم پسند کر تے ہو تمہیں الله اور اس کے رسول اوراس کی راہ میں لڑنے سے زیادہ پیارے ہیں تو انتظار کرو یہاں تک کہ الله اپنا حکم بھیجے اور الله نافرمانوں کو راستہ نہیں دکھاتا
(muhammad), tell them, "if your fathers, children, brothers, spouses, relatives, the property that you possess, the trade you fear may have no profit and the homely life are more beloved to you than god, his messenger and fighting for his cause, wait until god fulfills his decree (of making the right distinct from the wrong). god does not guide the evil-doers."

اب اگر وہ (تمہارے معبود) تمہاری مدد کو نہیں پہنچتے تو جان لو کہ یہ اللہ کے علم سے نازل ہوئی ہے اور یہ کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں ہے پھر کیا تم (اس امر حق کے آگے) سر تسلیم خم کر تے ہو؟"
"if then they (your false gods) answer not your (call), know ye that this revelation is sent down (replete) with the knowledge of allah, and that there is no god but he! will ye even then submit (to islam)?"

(اے مسلمانو) کیا تم یہ سمجھتے ہو کہ تم یونہی چھوڑ دیے جاؤگے حالانکہ ابھی تک اللہ نے (ظاہری طور پر) ان لوگوں کو معلوم ہی نہیں کیا جنہوں نے تم میں سے جہاد کیا اور خدا و رسول اور اہل ایمان کو چھوڑ کر کسی کو اپنا جگری دوست اور (محرمِ راز) نہیں بنایا۔ اور اللہ اس سے باخبر ہے جو کچھ تم کر تے ہو۔
are you under the illusion that you would be left just like this, whereas allah has not yet made known those of you who will fight and not confide their secrets with anyone except allah and his noble messenger and the muslims? and allah is well aware of your deeds.
