to better understand the postsecondary destinations and outcomes of ib students, this study combines data from multiple sources including the national student clearinghouse (nsc), the integrated postsecondary education data system (ipeds), the carnegie classifications of institutions of higher education, and international baccalaureate. it tracks enrollment and graduation rates from u.s. postsecondary institutions for two cohorts of ib students who completed high school in the united states in 2000 and 2001.
