他 必 興 旺 、 我 必 衰 微
he must increase, but i must decrease.

其 根 雖 然 衰 老 在 地 裡 、 榦 也 死 在 土 中
though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

帝 王 榮 耀 在 乎 民 多 ． 君 王 衰 敗 在 乎 民 少
in the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.

外 邦 人 要 衰 殘 、 戰 戰 兢 兢 的 出 他 們 的 營 寨
strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.

他 們 壯 年 的 氣 力 既 已 衰 敗 、 其 手 之 力 與 我 何 益 呢
yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?

他 使 我 的 力 量 、 中 道 衰 弱 、 使 我 的 年 日 短 少
he weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

到 了 牧 長 顯 現 的 時 候 、 你 們 必 得 那 永 不 衰 殘 的 榮 耀 冠 冕
and when the chief shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

你 們 這 些 要 吞 喫 窮 乏 人 、 使 困 苦 人 衰 敗 的 、 當 聽 我 的 話
hear this, o ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

地 上 悲 哀 衰 殘 、 世 界 敗 落 衰 殘 、 地 上 居 高 位 的 人 也 敗 落 了
the earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

我 論 這 行 淫 衰 老 的 婦 人 說 、 現 在 人 還 要 與 他 行 淫 、 他 也 要 與 人 行 淫
then said i unto her that was old in adulteries, will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?

摩 西 死 的 時 候 、 年 一 百 二 十 歲 ． 眼 目 沒 有 昏 花 、 精 神 沒 有 衰 敗
and moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

可 以 得 著 不 能 朽 壞 、 不 能 玷 污 、 不 能 衰 殘 、 為 你 們 存 留 在 天 上 的 基 業
to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

他 們 問 你 說 、 為 何 歎 息 呢 ． 你 就 說 、 因 為 有 風 聲 、 災 禍 要 來 ． 人 心 都 必 消 化 、 手 都 發 軟 、 精 神 衰 敗 、 膝 弱 如 水 ． 看 哪 、 這 災 禍 臨 近 、 必 然 成 就 ． 這 是 主 耶 和 華 說 的
and it shall be, when they say unto thee, wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, for the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the lord god.
