መለካትን የለኳቸው በኾኑ የብር ብርጭቆዎች ( ይዝዞርባቸዋል ) ፡ ፡

crystal-clear , made of silver . they will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes .
መለካትን የለኳቸው በኾኑ የብር ብርጭቆዎች ( ይዝዞርባቸዋል ) ፡ ፡

and establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night . indeed , good deeds do away with misdeeds .
ሶላትንም በቀን ጫፎች ከሌሊትም ክፍሎች ፈጽም ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራዎች ኀጢአቶችን ያስወገድዳሉና ፡ ፡ ይህ ለተገሳጮች ግሳጼ ነው ፡ ፡

have you not seen that all those who are in the heavens and the earth , and the birds on the wing , sing the praises of god . each one knows its obligations and its duties , and god knows whatever they do .
አላህ በሰማያትና በምድር ያለ ሁሉ በራሪዎችም ክንፎቻቸውን ( በአየር ላይ ) ያንሳፈፉ ኾነው ለእርሱ የሚያጠሩ ( የሚያወድሱ ) መኾናቸውን አላወቅህምን ሁሉም ስግደቱንና ማጥራቱን በእርግጥ ዐወቀ ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and who doth greater wrong than he who forbiddeth the approach to the sanctuaries of allah lest his name should be mentioned therein , and striveth for their ruin . as for such , it was never meant that they should enter them except in fear .
የአላህንም መስጊዶች በውስጣቸው ስሙ እንዳይወሳ ከከለከለና እርሷንም በማበላሸት ከሮጠ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማነው ? እነዚያ ፈሪዎች ኾነው እንጂ ለእነርሱ በቅርቢቱ ዓለም ውርደት አላቸው ፡ ፡ ለነርሱም በመጨረሻይቱ አገር ታላቅ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

who determines the nature [ of all that exists ] , and guided it accordingly ;
የዚያንም የወሰነውን ፡ ፡ ( ለተፈጠረለት ነገር ) የመራውንም ፡ ፡

your lord increases and determines the sustenance of whomever he wants . he is well aware and watches over his servants .
ጌታህ ሲሳይን ለሚሻው ሰው ያሰፋል ፤ ያጠባልም ፡ ፡ እርሱ በባሮቹ ኹኔታ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ተመልካች ነውና ፡ ፡

( then he knew ) that all power of protection rests with allah , the true one . he is the best to reward , the best to determine the end of things .
እዚያ ዘንድ ( በትንሣኤ ቀን ) ስልጣኑ እውነተኛ ለኾነው አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ በመመንዳት የበለጠ ፍጻሜንም በማሳመር የበለጠ ነው ፡ ፡

we have made the day and night each as evidence ( of our existence ) . the night is invisible and the day is visible so that you may seek favors from your lord and determine the number of years and mark the passing of time .
ሌሊትንና ቀንንም ( ለችሎታችን ) ምልክቶች አደረግን ፡ ፡ የሌሊትን ምልክትም አበስን ፡ ፡ የቀንን ምልክትም የምታሳይ አደረግን ፡ ፡ ( ይህም የኾነበት ) ከጌታችሁ ትርፍን ልትፈልጉ የዓመታትንም ቁጥርና ሒሳብንም ታውቁ ዘንድ ነው ፡ ፡ ነገሩንም ሁሉ ለያይተን ዘረዘርነው ፡ ፡

whenever there is danger , you will see them looking at you , their eyes rolling as though they were on the verge of fainting at the approach of death . but when the danger passes away , their greed for wealth prompts them to greet you with their sharp , scissor-like tongues .
በእናንተ ላይ ( እርዳታን ) የነፈጉ ሆነው እንጅ ( የማይመጡትን ) ፣ ሽብሩም በመጣ ጊዜ እንደዚያ ከሞት ( መከራ ) በርሱ ላይ የሚሸፍን ዐደጋ እንደወደቀበት ዓይኖቻቸው ወዲያና ወዲህ የምትዞር ኾና ወዳንተ ሲመለከቱ ታያቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ ሽብሩም በኼደ ጊዜ በገንዘብ ላይ የሚሳሱ ኾነው በተቡ ምላሶች ይነድፏችኋል ፡ ፡ እነዚያ አላመኑም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ አላህ ሥራዎቻቸውን አበላሸ ፡ ፡ ይህም በአላህ ላይ ገርነው ፡ ፡

say , " my lord increases and determines the sustenance of whomever he wants , but most people do not know . "
