Յակոբը նայելով Լաբանի դէմքին՝ հասկացաւ, որ նա իր հետ այնպէս բարեացակամ չէ, ինչպէս առաջներում էր:

he saith unto them, moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Մովսէսը ձեր խստասրտութեան պատճառով ձեզ թոյլ տուեց արձակել ձեր կանանց, բայց սկզբից այդպէս չի եղել:

the cake i made was not eaten by you, it was eaten by your sister.
Տորթը, որը ես էի պատրաստել, դու չես կերել, դա կերել է քո քույրը:

and entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward capernaum. and it was now dark, and jesus was not come to them.
Եւ նաւակ նստելով՝ գալիս էին դէպի ծովի միւս կողմը, դէպի Կափառնայում: Եւ երբ մութն ընկաւ, Յիսուս դեռ իրենց մօտ չէր եկել.

so now it was not you that sent me hither, but god: and he hath made me a father to pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of egypt.
Արդ, ոչ թէ դուք էք ինձ ուղարկել այստեղ, այլ՝ Աստուած: Նա ինձ դարձրեց փարաւոնի գործերի վերակացու, նրա ողջ տան տէրը եւ համայն Եգիպտացիների երկրի իշխանը:

and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the lord god had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
երկրի վրայ դեռ ոչ մի տունկ չէր բուսել, դեռ ոչ մի դաշտային բոյս չէր աճել, որովհետեւ Տէր Աստուած անձրեւ չէր տեղացրել երկրի վրայ, եւ մարդ չկար, որ մշակէր հողը,

and they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
Նրանք Եգիպտոսից բերած ու դեռ չհասած խմորով բաղարջ հաց եփեցին, որովհետեւ այն դեռ չէր խմորուել, քանի որ եգիպտացիները երկրից հանել էին իրենց, եւ իրենք չէին կարողացել սպասել ու իրենց ճանապարհի պաշար չէին արել:
