Արդ, ոչ թէ դուք էք ինձ ուղարկել այստեղ, այլ՝ Աստուած: Նա ինձ դարձրեց փարաւոնի գործերի վերակացու, նրա ողջ տան տէրը եւ համայն Եգիպտացիների երկրի իշխանը:

երկրի վրայ դեռ ոչ մի տունկ չէր բուսել, դեռ ոչ մի դաշտային բոյս չէր աճել, որովհետեւ Տէր Աստուած անձրեւ չէր տեղացրել երկրի վրայ, եւ մարդ չկար, որ մշակէր հողը,

and they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
Նրանք Եգիպտոսից բերած ու դեռ չհասած խմորով բաղարջ հաց եփեցին, որովհետեւ այն դեռ չէր խմորուել, քանի որ եգիպտացիները երկրից հանել էին իրենց, եւ իրենք չէին կարողացել սպասել ու իրենց ճանապարհի պաշար չէին արել:
